Things to do in Nyaung U
I came here two nights in a row. They have great ginger drink and the food also taste good. Itâs at the end of the street, so not really visible. But, it was a good decision to try it. Staffs are also very nice, service was quite fast too.

Great restaurant for everybody which like good and local food. Almost everything are made by the owners and the quality is impeccable. One of the best restaurants which I've visited here in Bagan. Lovely service and nice local taste! We had The fried fish with green pepper curry and lemon, cashew, the tomato salad ,Myanmar beers and tea leaves salad with coconut rice, yummy. and good location ,great tasteful .

I always go to Myo Myo when I want to eat Burmese food in Bagan. Itâs one of the cleanest and affordable restaurants in Bagan. Most of the time, itâs full with the locals. Whatâs unique about this restaurant is that you donât order your food. They give you all sorts of meat and vegetable dishes in small plates and bowls. All the other assortments are also provided. You take what you want to eat and theyâll only bill the ones youâve eaten. How they do that is a mystery. The food is delicious, and, in my opinion, serving food in that unusual way, helps fight food wastage since the serving size is very small for every dish. So, you can trust that the food is fresh. Food is sold out everyday. The chicken soup especially is very delicious, it has a bit of a mild pepper and hot taste. The staff are very busy and you can ask for more of the dishes that you like. Foreigners will be given priority attention (like in most Burmese restaurants). Update: the restaurant is on going a renovation, so its currently opened in the backyard building. Just find your way to the restaurant and then you will see a small street, go in a few walks and youâll see signs that lead up to the restaurant. Itâs on the second floor of the house and air conditioned. I totally recommend this restaurant if you feel like eating Burmese food in Bagan.
We will give you good quality of food.
Came back a second time it was so good - Good curries and veg options with juices . Would recommend as prices are very fair and food is great !

... on their wall - with the whole family standing there watching us, because of no other customers. So don't believe everything that's written on it. However very friendly family business, with an eager to chat boss. The food was okay, but really nothing special. Except for the free dessert, "Semolina cake" which is also sold at the main street where you enter the small lane, leading to Full Moon.

I came here 5 years ago and thought the same thing - is this for real? Am I really sitting in a restaurant right next to one of the Bagan temples? It is an amazing spot! Nothing has changed much in that regard! I really dropped by just for a 'beer and bite' and thoroughly enjoyed a Myanmar brew paired with some of the potato cracken that this place is famous for. Little puffed pillows of potato, deep fried and delicious. If you are looking for a quick snack before you get on your way again, I'd thoroughly recommend this place.

Exactly as it advertises - peaceful, spacious restaurant set in a garden overlooking a lake. On arrival we were given colourful parasols to protect us from the sun as we walked across a bamboo bridge. A wonderfully warm welcome. The food was delicious, fresh and tasty with a wide variety of offerings.

A Good Place For Fine Dining And Traditional Foot Massage In Bagan!
First we went there for body massage. It was in a separate room. It wasnât looking like a regular massage room, just mattresses on the floor but no hole for face, etc. massage was good though. Next time we went there for foot massage and it was really good. Very nice atmosphere right on the porch with fans. We also got fresh watermelon juice. Staff was very nice and pleasant. The Only problem was loud music banging from the neighboring place. We didnât have dinner there, but area looked very welcoming. Tables on the green loan right under the stars. Thank you for the review, Tina. We are always open to suggestion to provide better service, so really appreciated it. Happy Myanmar, New Year. Zarchi Ain

...this lovely place is a haven. The minute you sit down the server brings peanuts and cool drinking water (unique among the areaâs restaurants, as far as I know), and makes you feel relaxed and welcome. The menu is extensive, the prices are quite reasonableâespecially given the quality of the food, which is fresh, hot, and much less oily than nearby places. Iâll be back!

Confort Restaurant is a cosy place near to Shwezigon Pagoda. We are open during all the day for welcoming you and serving you different kind of meal.
This place is a small mom and pops restaurant serving several different types of cuisine. We tried a few dishes and were not impressed at all. In fact it made us immediately question how they attained the top restaurant ranking in Bagan at 5 stars nonetheless. It is evidently a farce. The place isn't terrible. The food is "meh". The location is "meh". The people seemed REALLY nice. But we're the type that would rather have the owner hate us and the food be GREAT than to have GREAT people and forgettable food. So no this place IS NOT 5 stars. IT IS NOT the best restaurant in Bagan. It is simply a "greasy spoon" "hole in the wall" with great staff and ok food. Average at best. I suspect somewhere somehow is fibbing in these reviews and for that and (trusting TA blindly) we wasted a meal.
