North Brunswick is a township in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. Tried this restaurant a week back during a weekday afternoon rush hour. The service was excellent with the servers keeping track of when your glass is near empty and filling it up with water, and taking away the plates that are over. But same cannot be said about the food. Tried the chilli paneer appetizer and their lunch special. I ordered the Hakka Chilli chicken and my wife the Chicken manchurian. The chilli paneer was fried too much and too much soy - suspect they used ready fried paneer. The entrees were also so so and nothing great. My two stars are only for the service. The food is below average.
Went here on the recommendation of a Chinese friend. We were pleased to see we were the only caucasians in the restaurant, suggesting a more authentic Chinese meal. Indeed, we were offered two menus, one American and one for the locals. The decor is bland, but to be expected in a small strip mall. The menu however is extensive and the food was delicious. We ordered the dumpling soup for two. Large dumplings filled with a lot of meat. Next we shared tea smoked duck - very flavorful though a bit on the fatty side. The skin could have been cooked more to make it crispy. We also had twice cooked pork szechaun style- spicy and tasting. There was plenty left for another meal- we took the leftovers home and enjoyed yummy lunch 2 days later. The price was right- roughly $13-$17 per main dish. Looks like lunch prices are about half for the same dishes. We will definitely come back and ask the owner to recommend some new dishes to try.

Went with a large group of my Chinese friends for a farewell lunch for a work colleague. Many dishes were ordered and served family-style in large dishes. All were very good. Sorry that I cannot name any of the items because others had made the orders. My friends said the dishes were very close to authentic Hunan. Several varieties of beef, pork, lamb, fish, and vegetarian items. Hotness ranged from mild to very spicy. Service was adequate, given the large size of our group (about 40 people).

we have ordered here consistently for the last 5+ years- they never disappoint. prices are good, they have good hours and are always friendly. When my fiancé orders, they know him and always make us feel like special patrons. We have tried other local Chinese food options, but this really is the best in the area! I especially like the spare ribs, shrimp with broccoli, sesame chicken, and shrimp egg rolls. You must give them a try!

The service was excellent. The food was excellent. All around a great experience!!The wonton soup had a good chicken flavor just wish it was a larger bowl. 2 wontons, pork and scallions. The sesame chicken had a nice flavor to the sauce. Chicken was cooked perfectly. Enough chicken for 2.5 people. The 5 meat stir fry was very good. My only complaint would be the pork was large pieces and hard to cut with no knife. Again enough food for at least 2 people.

Since when did sautéed chicken become boiled chicken? Tasteless with bland sauces describes this formerly excellent place. The chicken was warm - not hot. The tea was cool. They need a new chef. On the bright side, I didn't get sick.

We ate there the other night. The workers and owners were behind the counter where you order and receive the food. They seemed to be pointing and killing roaches. Also several weeks ago a roach was on my table as the food was being served. We had been eating there for years as their food is very good, but we wonât be returning unless they resolve their cocker roach problem.
