We were a group of about 20 some people. As arranged by our tour leader, I didn't have too high of an expectation. However, surprisingly, the meal that was served actually quite good. We had a Pork Cutlet Set or (Tontaksu set). Everything was exceptionally delicious, down to the rice and pickles. The rice was prepared perfectly, as would the italian would say for their pasta, al dente. The pork cutlet was juice, where the house sauce was well balanced. And of course the miso soup, was also wonderful. A place that I would patronage again, if I was going to be back in Komagane! two thumbs up to the kitchen, service, and of course the owner! Oiishi Kata!!
We stayed at Hotel Route Inn Komagane-Inter and ate dinner at this Chinese restaurant on both our nights here. The restaurant is a short walk from the hotel and it looked like the best option in the neighborhood. The menu is very extensive and it was difficult deciding what to order. The prices seemed quite reasonable and the portions were large. On the first night we selected items from the menu and had more food than we could possibly eat. Everything was excellent. The second night we had two set meals which were very good and quite inexpensive for the amount of food we were served. The service was very pleasant. On the second night we were treated as âregularâ customers. Both nights we sat in the zashiki area but there also are tables and benches, and an upstairs area that we didnât explore. On the weekend the place was very crowded. The only negative was that there was a lot of smoking in the zashiki seating area, especially on the second night, a Saturday, when a group of about 15 men took over much of the small room for a party.Good food and great prices - if we are back in Komagane we would eat here again.
