Located in an old pre-partition mini-mansion, in an upscale neighborhood of Multan, this delightful place has a charm of a restaurant-cum-luxury living. The previous owners who lived in the building, I suspect were either feudals or some rich merchants who tastefully decorated and built their abode to dine and wine their guests.Although, the management could not provide the details of the history of the building, with my knowledge of this section of Multan, I can safely assert that it must have been place that is aptly defined above. The management allowed me to take a peek at the second floor and the adjascent veranda and the courtyard that is currently being used as open-air dining area. Curiously, and charmingly, the insides of the building have not been radically re-modeled and of note is an elegant spiral staircase that takes one upstairs. The place is tastefully decorated. I was surprised to see a painting on one of the walls of Serrento, Italy where I have vacationed in the past and where the Mount Vesuvius of the Pompeii fame overlooks the Gulf of Naples. This was of course among other prints which belong to other places like the waterways of Amsterdam and beyond. We were here for little Fatima's fourth birthday, and had brought her favorite cake from another place. While the food that included an assortment of fish, chicken, salads, croquettes, chips and kebabs...all delicious, the management was unable to provide us with even a single candle that we had forgotten to bring and be blown out by little Fatima. She was nice to agree to blow her four candles on yet another cake later at home. An offer of a second cake saved the day.Nonetheless, the management vindicated themselves with a timely 'Happy Birthday" song on the speaker system. The bathrooms were immaculate, and overall it was a wonderful evening with one final caveat. As I stepped out, the wheelchair ramp was so slippery that I almost lost my balance. I would therefore recommend that other patrons use the steps instead, until there are some friction strips that are installed on the slippery incline. After all there may be clumsier patrons of their's who would get down the place by the ramp and forget the steps.
Must visit if you are in Multan... I loved the place ,delicious food ,friendly staff.,best coffee, best cakes and desserts in Multan.
