I ve been in soy restaurant last night whit my husband. Our choose was banquet for 2 30 dollars for person. Was the cheapest choose. All the menu is very expensive! The food was under the standard chinese restaurant. I think some food wasn't fresh. Service?? Bah.. the staff had dinner during the service. At 8,30.. wait long time for the waiters attention!

Although there was a mix-up with our booking, we booked for ten people but only table for eight available, staff did their best & we had a wonderful evening. Food was very tasty, perhaps not large serves, but everything was eaten with gusto & nothing sent back, only empty plates.

Went for a meal with a friend had the plum chicken, mini spring rolls, calamari and small fried rice. Chicken was ver good and large serve, mini Spring rolls too small, hard and not much inside. Calamari was ok but too much batter. Service was very good, and would go back, just have to get to know menu as all different.

I travel to Taiwan frequently and I am a big fan of good Chinese dumplings - this restaurant is really up there. We had pork dumplings, wagu beef dumplings, xiao long bao, char siu bao and all were spectacular! Find Chloe - she's really nice ! Definately worth a try!
Rang here to order the couple's pack and stipulated 3 times no seafood in the combination or the fried rice. Confirmed by the girl answering the phone. When wife went to pick up she asked to confirm no seafood again confirmed. When the wife got home combination and rice both had seafood. No good if your allergic! Rang up to complain and asked to speak to a manager told manager does not speak English and was refused a replacement or refund.

For our monthly Sunday lunch out with our elderly Dad's they decided this month not to go to yet another pub. They all agreed "let's have Chinese food, as we don't have it at home"... Home is a residential aged care facility. What a great choice they made. Eight of us had Banquet B, it was delicious. From memory we had 6 courses, including seafood, soup, spring rolls, sesame prawn slice, fried rice, king prawns & veg, combination pork, chicken & beef with steamed veg, mongolian beef & steamed veg and ice-cream with fritters or lychees. At $37 per head a veritable feast indeed. The staff were brilliant in accommodating our Dad's with wheelchairs & walking frames.Definitely book and advise the staff if you're needing to ensure they can accommodate the space for walking frames.
