This restaurant has been around in Maitland for a very long time. Currently they are open standard Chinese restaurant hours (closed Mondays) and offer a good buffet selection as a lunch option. $12.70 will get you a small bottle of coke and a large plate\container of chinese on a bed of rice or noodles. There's a good selection and the quality of the dishes is good. I highly recommend getting there as close to midday as possible though.

I went to Green Hills Take Away at lunch time. The service was very friendly, very quick and the food was great. The prices were very reasonable and I would definitely recommend it for Chinese takeaway food. The lunch specials are reasonably priced at between $8.50 and $10.50. Takeaway dishes range from $13.50 to $17.30.

This is OK for a take away place, not sure I'd go to the trouble of eating in though. Quality is OK but can be variable. The menu is comprehensive with all the usual Australianised Asian dishes and they do prepare meals quickly. The service is also friendly and the prices are reasonable. For a quick takeaway, it's, well, OK.

Four of my friends and I (so 5 in total) decided to visit your newly opened restaurant at Kotara Westfield. After much anticipation as we have been seeing the advertisements the Westfield centre had been doing for you, we were heavily disappointed. Steamed BBQ Pork Buns were dry, filling was too salty and they were only mildly warm. Pan fried pork and chive dumplings tasted nice however once again were cold and this concerns me due to food safety regulations. BBQ Combination Fried Egg noddle was terrible. Food was bland, was not BBQ'd, and again cold to the touch. Satay chicken hokkien noodles were cold to the touch. They were very spicy which was to be expected as it is a satay however the actual food was cold, the only thing that heated your mouth was the spice and bland in flavour. BBQ Chicken Standard was again cold, red in the middle, tasted rotten or like it had been sitting out for a lengthy period of time. This is also in line with how the food was served as this dish was the first to come out, even before the entrees (within 5 minutes of ordering) which to me shows proof that this was not cooked to order. This meal ended up being discounted from the cost. Special fried rice was bland, lacking ingredients, oily and had a strange odour. Every single coke that we ordered was warm at best. In fact it was hotter than the food you served us.Service was awful. Actually, the worst I have ever experienced locally and internationally. Staff were unhelpful, lacking motivation and work ethic and while they sticky taped the order ticket to our table the waitress would bend over that far to read it her hair almost went into our meals. They do not split bills. The staff member on the checkout stated this was because your system did not allow it however it is not difficult to use a calculator. We live in the 21st century however this is certainly a minor issue in comparison to our whole experience. All issues were raised with the staff member and 1 meal was refunded.

This restaurant has been around for a very long time. I'm talking over 20 yrs. our family loved the meals from here and now as there is only hubby and me we still enjoy our Chinese from this place.do yourself a favour. Try it out.
I found myself needing to eat alone so dropped into Green Hills for some takeaway. Lots of choices now after the redevelopment. I ordered at Lees Kitchen. Only waited 10 mins and the food was ready.I had a Combination Chow Mein and Special Fried Rice for just under $30.I got 3 containers of food because the crispy noodles filled a third container. Plenty of food. Will be 2 meals for me. Excellent flavour, lots of beef, chicken, BBQ pork and 3 big prawns in the chow mein. Nice veges, chinese spinach (lovely) and no onion at all.I loved that. Similar large pieces of meats and king prawns with bean shoots in the fried rice. Excellent Chinese food and highly recommended based on this one take away experience. I noticed the few couples eating in had very attractive looking food on their plates, reasonable servings and lots of smiles.I will certainly go again and eat in with my wife or friends.

I first dined at this restaurant last year and it was amazing. We were with some friends who frequently dine there, so we let them order an array of dishes based on their recommendations. I can honestly say that they were all very delicious, in fact, I was so full that I couldn't fit dessert in which is unusual for me. It was my birthday a few weeks ago, so I was visiting my mother and she asked me if I wanted to get some Chinese takeout, so this was the restaurant, I chose and once again, I was not disappointed. We ordered the Beef with Cashews, Sweet and Sour Pork, and some steamed dim sims which are my favorite. The next time I am in town, I will be back here for sure.
