Things to do in Marquette
This place is a little hard to find.Their parking lot is hidden behind the facade. It's well worth the search though. The interior is bright, airy, sunny, and nicely decorated with traditional Chinese restaurant decor. Our waitress was adorable and could not have been more attentive. She must have stopped by five times to make sure we had what we needed and didn't have any questions. The menu was maybe a tad non-traditional. This isn't exactly a "Chinese" restaurant, but as their name implies "Asian." The food that was served came out looking like a picture, just beautiful. Again, the waitress was very proud of how fresh the crab ragoons were, pointing out they were made fresh every day. They were exceptional. This may turn out to be one of favorite places to eat in Marquette. (And yes, you can see the lake from here.)
Where to eat Bar food in Marquette: The Best Restaurants and Bars
My wife and I (who live in Marquette) either go here or we order delivery from here anytime we want Oriental food. The food is 100% authentic and fresh. I can attest to this because after going there enough, it is rare to not see one of the family members of the owner working there come out after chopping veggies or such. Also, they serve food with no MSG...let me repeat....NO MSG. I can also attest to this by not only the fact they cut everything fresh, but I am a good acquaintance with an elderly lady originally from Hong Kong that knows the family who is also a respected member of Marquette who attests that K (the owner) refuses to use any MSG in his food, and doesn't believe in it. So to you people who do not eat MSG, here is an Oriental restaurant you can stand by!

Has Been In Business For Several Years
At least on our recent lunch visit, the place was clean and the hot food was hot. There was a good selection and the plates weren't chipped. Could have had more salad and dessert items, but you can only eat so much at once anyway. the lunch buffet was $8.25 or about the same as a fast food combo meal which was reasonable, although I don't think i'd pay any more than that. Staff was pleasant. Had to wait a little bit on the bill as business picked up. Ate the requisite fortune cookies, looked at the bill, and then was confused. Someone needs to explain to the waitstaff that in the United States it is standard practice to list the number and cost of the meals, then show the tax, then gve a total. I don't know if they think they are saving time or what but they simply wrote the total due on each guest check- roughly $9.50 for one person, not one at $8.25, $1.25 tax, $9.50 total. Some people got really upset and it will cost Hiong Kong repeat customers if they don't change that practice.
