Things to do in Marang
The restaurant is very popular among locals, make sure you make booking as it is normally full especially dinner. The restaurant is open air, service is acceptable good but place is pretty dirty, full of fries. The food is not too bad, we were lucky they have a wild live Soon Fok fish which we steam it, it was fresh and delicious, but sauce lacks soy sauce. The ä¸æ¹åèµ·( roast pork with beans) is yummy and tasty, a MUST.Other dishes like Roast Duck, anchovy, vegetables are average.Foodwise 3.5 stars. The price is very reasonable and MSG level is at acceptable level.Too bad too many fries.
Located in Chinatown of Kuala Terengganu, the eye of the city. Serve good, tasty Chinese food - Pork, Chicken, Fish, Prawn, Vegetable, Taufu, Egg with rice! One of the best Chinese Restaurant in town! MUST GO!
I'm a seafood lover, I tried many countries of seafood! I falling in love with this Heng Kee 126 Restaurant! I'm strongly recommended and you all go and taste it ! Price are acceptable for public . Go Go Go
Located a bit outside the city, about 15 mins. on foot. Outside tables available, but service was slow when sitting outside. No alcohol is served here.Minus: Staff does not pay so much attention to cleanliness - e.g. cutlery is placed on the table (that hasn't been wiped) directly, not on a napkin.Prices acceptable - we paid about 12 Euro for Mee Goreng, Pepper Steak and two fresh fruit juices.

We decided to try someplace new and ended up at Mike 2, as usual we ate family style ordering a selection of dishes and helping ourselves. We went with half a duck in sticky teriyaki sauce, pork in sweet and sour sauce, lemon chicken, fried rice and noodles, washed down with Tiger and root beer. All the dishes were very nice with the duck and pork being the favourites of the nite. We all left fat and happy and at less than £8 each it's worth a visit if your in town.

I came here often during my stay in Terengganu and was pleasantly surprised. The srvice was excellent, staff friendly and above all the food was excellent. The staff offered suggestions for me to try and I was very pleased with their choices. The prices were very reasonably also. Really good place.

Restoran Ocean seems to be the most popular chinese restuarant among the Chinese community in Kuala Terengganu. We were invited to three dinners in the very same restaurant within the week of our visit. The food and service were decent, but had nothing to shout about. A good place in Kuala Terengganu if you crave for decent chinese food in a Muslim state.

I had the curry mee. It's quite flavorful. While it might not be the best curry mee ever, it's a pretty good one. The price is quite reasonable too. Highly recommended.
You will not regret visiting Happy Vege in Kuala Terengganu, a hidden vegetarian restaurant in a Chinese Temple. The food is absolutely amazing. For lunch there is rice with a big assortment of different dishes, including tofu, vegetables, green leaves, etc. Almost everything is vegan, that is without milk and egg products. A full plate will probably not cost you more than 6-9 MYR, depending on how much food you take. The dinner menu has a big assortment of dishes - do not forget to try the veg. chicken with dried chili (it's not spicy!) and veg ribs in sweet saur sauce. Dinner is more expensive than lunch but still definitely price-worthy. The typical Happy Vege-visitors are normally Chinese, often families in the evenings. If my vegan friends back home in Europe would know about this restaurant it would not surprise me if they would fly here every month just to eat at Happy Vege (which of course is not environmental-friendly, but still, this is how good this restaurant is).

Our group of seven had six dishes with rice and drinks. Our bill came to about RM138, so averaging about RM20 per person. We thought it was reasonably priced as the servings were large. Food taste was generally above average. We especially liked the deep fried calamari with salted egg. The least liked dish was the lemon chicken. We were there after the lunch hour crowd has dissipated so service was quick.
