The food here is awesome - Szechuan House is located next to Gill Stadium and across the street from the Police Station, and the strip mall looks run down. Don't let it fool you - the General Chao white meat chicken is off the charts, the szechuan beef has some spice - but again consistently good. Boneless spare ribs; hot & sour soup. We have never had a bad meal, in fact it is always outstanding. My wife and I go monthly down to Manchester and make a point to go to Szechuan House

This is a fun place to go with family or, more particularly, friends. I've honestly only ever been for their karaoke nights, but I've had a good experience each time. The drinks are cheap but not watered down, and the food is fine. Nothing to write home about, but you'll leave satisfied.

Read somewhere that this was the best Chinese restaurant in NH. Naturally we needed to try it. Arrived around 3pm on a Saturday. Greeted and seated right away. Ordered our usual - egg rolls, steamed Peking dumplings, crab rangoon, house fried rice and General Gao's chicken. All items were very good and fresh. Friendly service but not overbearing. Fair prices. Good sized portions. Limited delivery area. Clean establishment (including restrooms) albeit a bit dated. Not a deterrent. Will be back.

Chinese or Japanese food.
Hope it doesn't continue... but definitely noticeable a new cook was in the house last week! Everything was a stark contrast to Chen's original food. The sushi roll was the same, so that has not changed. The pu pu was totally overcooked. Rice lacked flavor. The pad thai was bland and huge chunks of onion which was unusual.Hope the old chef is back!!Not a good visit.
