With a name like "Ray's Cafe" I thought it was a diner, but it was an excellent Chinese restaurant with a 1960's feel inside.
Small place down by the harbor which in my opinion has the best takeout around. They use noticeably fresh ingredients and remains my goto for takeout or delivery.

Finally made it out here after hearing about it from some friends. Got the chicken wings as an appetizer, which I've had a friend's place. It's really crispy and crispy, some may say a little salty. I ordered the sesame chicken, chicken & shrimp and Moo Shu Pork. They were all good. The sesame chicken was nice and crispy. The service here was very good and a nice place to bring the family. I appreciated the fact the waiter actually put my moo shu pork rolls together for me, though I could have done that myself.

I was very happy to have found a "normal" Chinese restaurant where you can sit down and have a meal.Usually they are take out shops with a few dirty tables in front. So I was happy to have found one in my new neighborhood, complete with noodles and duck sauce to start. It's nothing extraordinary, just reliable Chinese food in a pleasant environment. This will be our go to place when we're in the mood.

We opened Quenas with the dream of presenting the wide diversity and fusion of Peruvian food, using the best and most authentic ingredients, in a modern presentation. Peruvian cuisine fuses many different ethnicities, including Spanish, Chinese, Japanese,
Had dinner with another couple on a recent Saturday night - our first time here though they had been before. Small place in Harrison with authentic decor and reservation signs at every table. We started with their Sangria - not too sweet and oh so delicious. Appetizers were terrific, the flavor combinations though unique to our tastes, worked beautifully together. I enjoyed a delicious Chicken dish with a very slight kick and my husband had the Peruvian Paella. We both proclaimed our meals amazing. Not a big dessert eater, I agreed to have a taste of a plate of Churros ordered for the table. Outstanding - crispy on the outside and filled with delicious Dulce de Leche in the middle. We will return!

Food was mediocre and soup not hot. General Taoâs chicken was way too sweet and not at all spicy. Egg rolls were tasteless. Having been to China and other Asian countries this food was not authentic. Service was slow and while the place was crowded the noise level was deafening. Too many other restaurants in the Avenue so I think Iâll stick with fast Chinese takeout from Best.
