P.F. Chang's is a restaurant concept that honors the 2,000-year-old Asian tradition of wok cooking and believes in making food from scratch every day in every restaurant. With a Farm to Wok food philosophy at its core, P.F. Chang's chefs hand-roll dim sum
The food we had was good. We tried two things that were new to us and really liked them. The problem was with the service. I don't intend to sound mean, but for non-smokers, having a waitstaff that reeks of cigarette smoke is off putting. The perfume and breath mints used in an attempt to cover up the smoke didn't work well at all. In fact, it just added to the odor. Now that all restaurants are non-smoking, I guess we may have to start asking for non-smoking waitstaff. It really did take away from the enjoyment of our food whenever our waitress came by. She was very good, except for the cigarette smoke.

Nice atmosphere, really good food, and excellent service! If you've not given China Cafe a chance, yet, be sure to stop by for lunch/dinner and see what you think. I appreciated the light smoky flavor of the Mongolian Chicken dish, as well as the not too sweet and not real spicy Orange Chicken (just right)! I didn't try the Crab Rangoon appetizer, but I did try the fried Spring Rolls and they were quite good dipped in the sweet 'n sour sauce that comes with them. Finally, I feel like the price was good as well. So, zero complaints from me. All praises for China Cafe's offerings! Xiè xie!

Although I have eaten at Pei Wei in 3 different state for maybe 7 years Arkansas, Ohio & Michigan, seems like this one doesn't understand the importance of serving appetizers and soup before the entrée. Last visit I ordered an appetizer, won ton soup and 2 entrees for my wife and inside 5 minutes they are bringing the entrees out. I told them to cancel my appetizer and soup and refund my money on those items as I prefer eating them before my meal. My server told the cashier to get me my money back, but the cashier said no one was their to give a refund so I did not get one. There is a very simple way to keep from this happening again. QUIT selling appetizer's and soups. If you want to run a "fast casual" style restaurant then only serve a one course meal. A customer can't win by ordering them as you either eat a cold entrée or a cold bowl of soup and spring rolls. Neither sounds very appetizing to me.I will still go here as the food is good, but will no longer order 2 spring rolls and won ton soup. Since we eat here once a week it means you will make $7.50 per meal less per visit. About $350.00 per year. Better for my wallet and waistline!!
