I would give this place top marks, but for the fact that the front door has been broken for years! It needs a new closer!! Itâs easily fixed. I have lost count of the number of times Iâve got up mid meal to close the stupid thing as I canât stand sitting in a draught. As Iâm typing this, a person on another table has just got up and closed it, only for another couple to enter, take up a table and Hey Presto, Iâm eating my food in a wind tunnel again.Back to the full marks statement, thereâs 2 ladies who work here, and you couldnât find further opposites! One lady is happy and always smiling, such a pleasure to be served by. The other lady is rude, abrupt and unsmiling. I actually feel as if she thinks Iâve murdered her family or something. Anyway, Iâve just zipped my coat up and now waiting to see which lady will serve me, so as to whether my food will be placed in front of me or thrown at me!!

Iâve been here many times but not for a few years. In the past I always thought this was one of the better Chinese restaurants around so was bitterly disappointed by my experience this week.The service was absolutely appalling. The serving staff had little idea about menu items and seemed to really struggle with taking the order, with items being forgotten.Our rice and noodles arrived at the table almost 10 minutes before the main dishes. We had to chase for them several times. This meant that that rice was stone cold by the time the main dishes arrived. There was no apology offered for the delay.The quality of the food was OK at best, although no better than you would get from your average local takeaway.The decor is looking tired and shabby and nowhere near the standard that used to be maintained.I donât know whether it has changed ownership since our last visit but standards have certainly slipped considerably.Such a shame that a once high quality restaurant has gone so far down hill

Food wasn't good. Satay chicken disgusting. Ribs fatty. Duck especially fatty. Chicken and filet steak beef main dishes in terms of quality of meat was really awful.Previously we've been here 5 times and the food has been incredible and it's been some of our best Chinese food ever. What has happened?? Different chef????Really don't understand. Best thing tonight was the bottle of wine.

Great little all you can eat chinese which is ordered from the menu. Good choice of starters, (note that duck is not included), mains were plenty full too. We had ribs, prawn toast, prawns for starters and sizzling beef, king prawns and noodles for main. All was very nice. I would return again if in the area.
