Noodle Wong is in the space where Noodle Chu was located. Initially the only difference was the new name and the fact that the space was somewhat spiffed up. However, there are some new choices for dim sum in addition to the prior options. On our most recent visit we had clams in black bean sauce which wasn't great and duck which was- we ended up having a second plate. It seems more crowded than in the past and somewhat more expensive but we had a good meal.

We love Hunan Taste. Nice bar (full) in the front; plenty of parking in Denville center. Two nicely appointed rooms separated by a row of large aquarium tanks filled with tropical fish. Full expansive menu. Everything from pupu platters to dumplings various ways; tasty ribs. Love the traditional Peking Duck and Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. Always excellent service. Highly recommend.

This restaurant has such an extensive menu that there's something for everyone( which is one of the reasons my wife's company often has office lunches there.)I started off our lunch with Wonton soup ( hot and delicious on a cold day ) my wifehad Miso soup which she also enjoyed. For an entree I had Pork Mixed Vegetables(sliced pork with red peppers, broccoli, zucchini ( i think ) all nice and crunchy.)My wife had Shrimp Mango Passion ( fresh, large shrimp and mangos ) which she enjoyed, but I guess I'm not much for mangos because they had a rather bland taste.) For dessert we shared Muchi Red Bean Ice Cream which seems to besome sort of gelatin outer covering with an ice cream center. A little unusual mouthfeel (having a warm outer cover and cold vanilla center) but very tasty. Service wasexcellent, friendly and efficient. They also have the best green tea I've hadanywhere.

When the weather gets cold, we come here for lunch. I really enjoy the idea of personalized hot pot as you can get whatever you want, cook it however you want, and just enjoy it, without having to worry about the fact that person A does not do pork and person B does not like spicy food. The lunch really is a good deal. For $11 you get a full plate of veggies, a plate of meat (choose from fatty beef, fatty lamb, chicken, premium beef), and a type of noodle (glass noddle, rice noodle, instant noodle, udon). And it costs only around $12 with all you can eat ice cream. I am 5'8'', 165# height-weight proportional male and I struggled a little to finish my food. I will continue to come back.

Yes, it is a small takeout next to the Post Office and H&R Block but it's everything you would expect from Chinese Take-Out. I've been several times for lunch (11-3:30 pm) having tried the Chicken with Cashew Nuts (a little spicey the way I like it) and the Pork LoMein. Lunch is $4.60 unless you get an item with shrimp or beef then it's $4.85. You get your choice of pork fried, white or brown fried rice. I always get the pork fried rice. For an additional $.75 cents you can choose a can of soda, egg roll (crispy and stuffed) or soup. Egg drop is delicious. More egg then other take-outs I've tried. I have not tried the FREE DELIVERY yet, $15 + order required. The food is great, in ten minutes you are out of there and the price is hard to beat. It's is the way Chinese Lunch Take-Out ought to be. With only an hour for lunch this fits my bill. It is however very small inside. They have a counter to eat on by the window but no tables. I always take my food on the road.

They are relatively new, just tried them today, near a bunch of hotels, and very tasty!
Extremely crowded on weekend lunch hours. Hard to find parking. Standing room wait for dimsum lunch. Suggestion: either get there earlier or after the busy rush. After 1pm, it was less chaotic, more relaxed/less stress environment and more enjoyable to eat lunch. Make reservations for big groups. They give you a paper ticket with your queue number. In the past, it seemed like they gave you preferential treatment (seated you first & cut in line) if you were Chinese - I'm glad they give you a paper ticket with number now.Overall the food is superb! Their fried chicken is delicious (dip it in soy sauce with lemon)! Their duck is good too as long as its still hot. I'm a dimsum fan but some of my favorite items (i.e. crab claw, dofu, baked pork buns) were not available during our visit. The dumplings are always a hit. The service is swift and attentive; you don't have just 1 particular server. I think we had 8 servers checked up on us. The dimsum carts stopped by our table every 3 to 5 minutes. If you don't see what you want in the cart, they will bring it to you straight from the kitchen. We also ordered from the regular menu. I love that they keep refilling my hot tea pot! You definitely will leave here stuffed.

You can watch long noodles being rolled out by hand. Kids seemed to get a big kick out of this and even get a piece of dough to try it too.Noodles in big bowls of rich beef and chicken soup, saute'd noodles, beef, chicken, pork, lamb, duck and vegetarian. Entrees are generous, appetizers are tasty and soup bowls are huge, think a big bowl of Pho. You get a pair of scissors to cut your noodles! If you like your chicken, beef, duck without any skin or fat, this place is not for you. The skin, fat, bones and muscles all add to depth and richness of the stocks, soups and sauces. Shan Shan is not an Americanized Chinese restaurant. Our friends enjoyed it, my wife won't go back and I would be more cautious if I did.
