Very good buffet lunch for â¬10.80. Good selection of cooked, made to order and cold foods. Sushi and seafood were particularly good quality. Plenty of choice and loads of room. Third visit in the last 12 months and would definitely return. 10 minwalk from border.

I've been going to the Gran Muralla for 25 years, my wife has been going for about 35. It was the first Chinese restaurant to set up in La Linea, and it's still going strong. It's not as busy as it used to be, because of the rise of the all-you-can-eat buffet, but when you want something that isn't on the "all you can eat" menu (and there's a lot of that), this place is excellent. Still very reasonable - we usually pay about 25 euros for two of us, including drinks. They do a nice takeaway as well.

Was staying at Hotel a couple of hundred yards away and found them through a web search. From the outside it look a bit grim, as is the location - this is a slightly neglected area of La Linea but felt safe enough.Went inside and you find a decent size, very well laid out and decorated restaurant. We were the first customers that night and received excellent service. If you are hungry, then this place is for you - the portion sizes are very big and we were caught out by this and went home absolutely stuffed (contented). The taste was very good too. Eat regularly in Chinatown in London and it would give them a run for their money. Went back a second time then a third with 2 other couples. At the end of the meal we were given free cocktails for being such good customers.I can be quite fussy with food, but this place had me beat. Definitely one to recommend to fellow travellers. Oh and did I mention the prices - very reasonable!
