Great place for a wedding, nicely laid out and very attractive. Service was good courteous staff, tasty treats, we had small bites not a meal but many folks were eating, well 'attended' a large facility. Has a children's play area.

Went to the new wing of the Village Market on a date with my wife. It was a very chilly July day and we wanted something really hot. We went round looking at the small restaurants and decided to check out Hanji's Corner. They did not have inside sitting but we took the risk and sat in the common food court type of eating area. The Chinese lady that was in charge encouraged us by suggesting that the corn soup would keep us warm. And it did. The corn soup was not as glamarous as one I had taken in a Chinese restaurant in Lilongwe but it was surely hot as per the lady's caution. I ordered some pork dumplings and my wife had sweet sour chicken with steamed rice. The food was simple but tasty. The service was extremely fast and the owner very warm and welcoming. Apparently all her workers were away that afternoon and she was managing the affairs alone. I would go back to sample more dishes. This is the type of place you want to go to for simplicity and if you are time pressed.

The Yao brunch stands out in Nairobi for the combination of great Asian dishes and good value.Be honest, everyone dreams of spicy noodles to order and a glass of wine on a Sunday!My staple? Soup, dim sum, sushi, and spicy veggie noodles.Reservations are recommended, as the restaurant gets veyy busy and each table stays a minimum of 2-3hrs!
