I have dined at Hai Hong 100s of times (truly) and will be back there very soon again. So many excellent dishes, and dim sum, too. Along w/ a (small), well chosen & well-priced wine list (this last aspect of the resto too many other restos can't seem to manage). Where do i start?: crispy duck, roast duck, pork leek dumplings, congee, steamed chicken, "baked steak," Mandarin pan-fried noodles, the best version of Kung Pao chicken I've ever had, various chow funs...

Plenty of parking, bathrooms small but clean, seated immediately by a friendly female and given menu's. This is where a complaint is, it was 2pm and lunch menu's went until 3pm with reduced prices but was not mentioned until a bathroom trip was initiated and a on-line menu obtained? Our orders were brought to us fast. The portions were large but this is where another complaint arose, plate was too small for the portion given. Pricing was reasonable with a return visit in the cards SOMEDAY! If one wants Chinese food then this is a place to dine. All staff encountered was friendly in our visit. Do they have a lunch menu?

Not busy on a Wednesday night, we were seated immediately. Price was very reasonable, and we drank water. There is a huge selection. The Egg Rolls were good. The ice cream was good, but agree with the comment about rinsing the scoop in dirty water. They ran our credit card twice-but were very quick to take care of it. I was in the bathroom for a while when we returned home...

It is one of the best restaurants in the city of Ithaca that serves chinese food! The food never fails to amaze me and the service is great no matter if you order delivery or dine in! There is always new things to try and don't let the quietness fool you!
