Hayward (/ˈheɪwərd/; formerly, Haywards, Haywards Station, and Haywood) is a city located in Alameda County, California in the East Bay subregion of the San Francisco Bay Area. With a 2014 population of 149,392, Hayward is the sixth largest city in the Bay Area and the third largest in Alameda County. Hayward was ranked as the 37th most populous municipality in California. It is included in the San Francisco–Oakland–Fremont Metropolitan Statistical Area by the US Census. My Family and I have been coming here for a while, every weekend lunch or dinner time. Service has been consistently good, host Simon very accommodating. Food quality excellent, the cooks(mainly family members) use only the freshest ingredients. And the price- can't beat the prices: just an example, the Boneless chicken breast sautéed with FRESH mangoes, with fresh snow peas and fresh cut carrots only $7.50 that serves the 3 of my family. It's really worth to visit and either dine in or order to go! Location convenient-close to 92 and 880 on Mission Blvd.
This restaurant is located at a small and a bit shabby shopping centre, and the interior is simple as well. But donât get fooled by this. The food is really great here. We were with several people and had a lot of different dishes, and all dishes tasted very good. Especially recommended are the shrimps, which were really gorgeous and the best we have ever eaten. The value for money is even better than the food itself. This restaurant is definitely recommended if you prefer great food above a nice interior.

We like to go on Saturdays as cheaper than Sunday. Good selection of sushi and chinese dishes. Lots of window seating and natural lighting which we prefer. It can be bit crowded at buffet aisle. There are very good at replenishing hot tea. Nice coquilles St. Jacques scallops.

We've been to this place three or four times and have been pleased and impressed every time. We always order the deep-fried chicken wings, called salt and pepper chicken wing on the menu, steamed shrimp dumplings, steamed pork and shrimp dumplings, stuffed mushrooms with minced shrimp, pan fried beef and pickled chow fun, which never disappoint, and then we've tried other dishes which have also been delicious: deep fried taro turnover, deep-fried tofu skin with minced shrimp, crispy skin roast pork. We tend to go early as it gets rather crowded, and with good reason. The food is delicious.

China Bistro is a fabulous restaurant, in the heart of Hayward, their menu is excellent! Service is always great, their staff is very attentive. The honey walnut prawns are fabulous and their chow mien with chicken is excellent. Looking for a good lunch; chicken lettuce wraps and sizzling rice soup and your tummy will be quit continent. If your looking for a little flare to Chinese food, this is your place.
