This is a high class restaurant. We had only two persons in our group and were lead to a private room with a waitress serving us exclusively! I guess this is their style. The decor was classy and the food was quite good. The final bill came to about RMB400 which was quite acceptable and a worthwhile experience. Suitable for tourists who want to experience an elegant Chinese restaurant.

Great great. Nice ambience good food and value for money. A lot of choices and very healthy. Smiling staff and fast service. Between sitting ordering and being served really tasty food 15 minutes. Good drinks also and fragrant house brewed tea. The service had some problems because it took them ages to get us a new clean set for an extra cover. One of us came late. And the refilling of rice was slow. Otherwise it was great. Service can always be improved. So it is a good place for good dining. One of my sure visit again place once back in hainan

Located on the south east corner of Renmen Dadao and 6th road on Haidian Dao north of downtown Haikou, this restaurant offers truly authentic North-East food. Hearty, recognizable food that isn't too spicy laid out in a beautifully decorated dinning room full of North-East memorabilia. As you exit the elevator on the 2nd floor you can see a beautiful display of the famous DongBei meats and see noodles being prepared fresh. The menu is extensive and each dish is displayed with photos and English

My girlfriend and I visited this place at the end of 2017. She saw the chef from the restaurant won gold metal on a TV cooking competition on CCTV (the most prestigious TV network there is, in China). We have been around, Michelin starred restaurants in France, HK, Thailand, etc...The quality of the food is no match to any famed restaurants in HK. The most disappointing dishes were some of their signature dishes: foie gras, diced beef, etc... The shop was mediocre. Everything else were as such.A very disappointed meal. enough said.

While I wasnât staying at your hotel but at the Renaissance Hotel next door, I decided to make a trip to the Ritz for the Chinese Restaurant, Tin Lung Heen. It was to be a special night. It was both Christmas Eve and the night before my family returns to Singapore after our vacation in Hainan. What was supposed to be a treat for my family, turned out to be an absolute disappointment in the end. We were a table of 5 which ordered 5 mains to be shared among us. 4 dishes were served after a short wait. Noticing that our 5th dish, a main meat dish, was missing, we notified the staff. The staff gave us an excuse that the restaurant was busy and the dish will be served soon. The dish was not served after we notified the staff a second time. Then, finally, on our third attempt in getting the dish served, the staff finally informed that the dish was unavailable. That was an hour after we were seated. By then, we had finished the 4 dishes that had been served. Your staff offered us to order another dish in place of the meat dish that was unavailable but whatâs the point in ordering another dish at that point in time when everything else had been eaten. My grandpa was hoping to match that dish with his porridge, but that meat dish didnât arrive. Everyone was disappointed and left the restaurant less satiated than we shouldâve been.Dear Valued Guest,Warmest Greetings from The Ritz-Carlton, Haikou!Thank you very much for taking the time to share your valuable feedback.I would like to extend my most sincere apologies to you and your family for the challenges and the inconvenience caused. I expect Shang palace as 5 star as this brand carries most of Shanglila hotel. Waiters all can explain all dishes. What unique about this place is that we can enjoy local Chinese food. I am quite bored with traditional Chinese dishes that other Shang palace offer. So we enjoyed Hainan chicken. Or shrimp soup. Coconut and papaya vegetable ! All dishes are excellent and many private rooms to enjoy meal with toilet in the room.
