"The Place to be for Thai, Chinese, Filipino and Canadian Food"
Unfortunately my last experience at this restaurant was not very good. The orange chicken was extremely overcooked. I had eaten here in the past and enjoyed myself but they need a cook who takes care to serve the best possible meal every time. I don't get into town very often, so I prefer to choose a place where I am sure of an excellent meal every time.
Having eaten Chinese food made by people from China and Taiwan,a s well as in restaurants around Vancouver where the menu is available only in Mandarin characters and the wait staff speak only enough English to communicate with me, I am fairly particular about how Chinese food should taste. This restaurant delivers every time. Their buffet offers tasty food, but I prefer to order off the menu. And their food has that "prepared in a well seasoned wok" flavour that can only be achieved when the food was, indeed, prepared in a well seasoned wok. Love that, and the fact that the owners are friendly and even recognize my voice when I call in a "to go" order.
