We were shown to a rather spartan back room rather than the main restaurant we wondered if the service would be commensurable. We waited quite a while for service. The waitress did not inspire confidence when she described one of our choices as a Tofu dish when we had ordered a Mixed Seafood Claypot. (As it turned out her description was accurate because there was more tofu than seafood.) The prompt delivery of the first dish was disappointing because it was a main not an entree. We made it clear we had ordered entrees and wanted them first. The waitress was reluctant to take it away and when it returned later it was obviously the original dish reheated. The entrees were thumped down by a quickly disappearing and obviously disgruntled waitress. The main meal was of an acceptable standard but did not inspire. We had barely finished our meal before cleaning of the room began. It was before 9.30 on a Saturday night. We were not offered the opportunity to order dessert or coffee before the bill arrived. When we were paying the bill we said we would have liked dessert. The staff just looked at us as if they didn't quite understand.Recommend or return? Not a chance.

Went here with my family who eat here often. Was disappointed by the lack of ambience in the restaurant, didn't seem to have any life. The service was insanely bad, so slow and such attitude. Food came out sporadically instead of together. They charged us for a tea they gave us without a choice. I definitely think they overcharged us, but we wouldn't know as we never saw the bill and it was all in chinese when we paid anyway.

Visited here last week having not been here for about 12 months. Décor and such just the same. Always busy and especially with Asian families and groups. Ordered our 'usual' dishes - duck dishes are particularly good - and sufficient left-overs for lunch the following day.

Itâs so so so rare to find good service in Perth these days, however this quaint little shop does not fail to deliver service with the biggest smile. Working in hospitality, Iâve come to expect a standard regarding service but I was actually blown away by how friendly and helpful the staff here are. It really brings another level to the dining experience. I almost forgot to mention the food! I have been here for breakfast lunch and dinner and not once have I left disappointed with my meal choices. Presentation, interesting flavour combinations, attention to detail, food made with love. I would recommend Pachi Pachi for anyone looking to dine in Vic Park

Never disappoints, took awhile to get seated but what to expect on CNY. The Borongsai was an awesome and loud start to the evening. Good Fortunes excellent roast meats were exceptionally moist and tender with great crackling on the roast pig (sorry it is itâs year to celebrate) and the kailan in oyster sauce was a lovely crunchy vegetable accompaniment. For the pescatarian in our family the chilli salt and pepper squid quenched the appetite. Will not (& do not) hesitate to go back...thanks Good Fortune staff.
