Why does this place smell like a child daycare or nursery, coupled with overused frying oil? It's because the food made there embodies those smells and flavors. Nothing is fresh. It is a train wreck of Asian food, thrown onto less than suitable buffet tables. Coincidental to the other reviewer or not, I was sick that night and into the next day.
Was shocked how good this Chinese carry out was. Plentiful portions. Styrofoam containers but placed order and was brought out to us at the table we were sitting at.

I've been a fan of Janbo Express for over 15 years. The food is very good and consistent each time I order it. Friendly family business that won't disappoint. The portions are huge so plan on leftovers! They also do catering for large groups. They really came through for a large event at Draper Park Middle School toward the end of the school year. The prices for catering are very reasonable.

We went here with friends who often order the lunch specials. We were not impressed with either the food or the atmosphere. The place needs not only an updating but some basic repairs, There was worn and damaged areas throughout the restaurant. I didn't think it was too clean either. I ordered the chicken curry and it was OK but not very flavorful. The restaurant is located in a strip mall.
I ordered take-out from this place and I enjoyed the food very much. For $10, I got a large wonton soup and a dinner combo plate that was absolutely huge, with shrimp and lots of fresh vegetables, ham (yes, ham) fried rice (yum) and egg roll. Standard Chinese fare but the portions are huge, prices low and it's family owned and friendly. I would return again.

Today I ordered a Panda Bowl with chow-mein and Orange Chicken. It is really the perfect size for a meal for $6. Pretty reasonable but the price doesn't reflect a drink. It tasted good, but by the time I got home it was really warm, but no longer hot...and Panda Express tastes better HOT! So, I don't recommend ordering it to-go, Dine there. (:

Bento boxes (Chinese and Japanese) were good as were sushi rolls. Tempura was flavorful and non greasy. The AC was loud and oddly pitched which can't be helped, but good to know if you're sensitive to that. Waiter checked often to see that we had everything we needed. I want to take the family - menu states to let them know if you need gluten free.
