BETTER! Christmas morning we sat and decided that we must get out of the house. We didn't have plans until later when I had to cook. We picked a restaurant that neither had been to "Man Chun Hong". We arrived a little after noon and there was already a wait - the first good sign. Second possibly good sign was that everyone that was leaving looked extremely happy. We got out table within 15 minutes and the menu looked great but we wanted the Szechuan one. No problem. The menu was amazing. But we decided that we should order things that we were familiar with. We selected the Szechuan Hot and Sour Soup, the Szechuan Wontons in Hot Chili Oil, and the Szechuan Fried Eggplant. First a little order of kimchi arrived and it was quite good. We only ate a little as we knew we had lots of food on its way. Then came the Hot and Sour Soup. This huge bowl arrived that was gorgeous. It was chock full of veggies. The soup had a slightly sweet taste but spicy afterward. Then came the Wontons in Hot Chili Oil. Another huge bowl of soup. Not what we were expecting but the tastes were amazing. A hint of a smoked flavor and the wontons were huge. The soup that the wontons came in had so many veggies it was like a meal in itself. The eggplant arrived shortly after the soup and it was beautiful. Crispy sticks of pleasure with cilantro, garlic(light), Szechuan peppercorns that give that numbing sensation. Perfect. We ate and ate, but couldn't finish it. Our three dishes could have served at least 5 or 6 people. We had enough left overs for more great food at home. Service was excellent. The food was probably the best Szechuan food we have ever had. Can't wait to get a group of 8 to return.

Dim Sum Heaven offers authentic & delicious tasting Chinese cuisine in Doraville, GA. Our restaurant is known for its variety in taste and high quality fresh ingredients. Come and experience our friendly atmosphere and excellent service.
My wife and I visited Dim Sum Heaven for Sunday brunch recently, making a 30-min trek to satisfy a hankering for soup dumplings and pork buns. We were greeted by a sweet hostess who promptly seated us and served us hot tea. On the wall next to us were four about dozen numbered photos of various dishes with Chinese and English titles. That might be a tip off to some adventurous diners seeking "real Chinese," but we prefer this to the more typical Buford Hwy approach: a menu in Chinese with weak English translations ("Pork with rice").We ordered soup dumplings, steamed yu choy with garlic, shrimp and pork shumai, and a bean curd dish in ginger with black mushrooms. Ironically, we liked the non-Dim-Sum dishes best: the yu choy was steaming fresh with bold chunks of garlic; the tofu sauce rich, sweet and tangy. I learned during this visit that Dim Sum refers to the small, bite-sized dishes in steam baskets or small plates, and *not* the carts that roll those dishes around, but we enjoyed Dim Sum Heaven anyway...and ordered pork buns, hot and sour soup, and whole shrimp in onions and garlic to go. Totally worth the trip.

At Canton House in Chamblee, Georgia we care deeply about the quality of our food and our service. Our extensive menu offers everything from Chinese Hot Pot to Sea Cucumber. Whether it is Lo Mein, Pan Fried Cantonese, Moo Goo Gai Pan, or any other favorit
What makes this a great Chinese restaurant is the Dim Sum experience. Besides the four pages of normal Chinese dishes, Dim Sum allows you to pick small samples from a cart that is rolled around the restaurant. The restaurant staff will describe each of the mini dishes to you. The samples are around $3-4 a piece and can be shared around the table. So 2-3 people can share 8-10 Dim Sum dishes. since you a charged for each Item you can stop at any time. Try a new Chinese experiance. You can never go wrong with some dim sum around here! I'm so happy you enjoyed everything. Come back for another meal with us soon! All the best, Cam Vuong, Owner

This is literally underneath Italy Optical, and you have to pull into the parking lot, drive around the building to the back, and enter on the side. It's a small, no-frills place with a simple water cooler for you to replenish your styrofoam cups yourself, but the server is both charming, attentive, and prompt. The menu is extensive, and I wouldn't take a vegan here as the menu is full of things like pork ears, pork snouts, pork knuckles ... But if they are pescetarian and enjoy the heat, let me recommend the Szechuan fish. And they MUST have the vegetable plate, I dunno what it was called, but it's a vegetable mix that is so light and refreshing and BEAUTIFUL on the palate! Also, the juicy buns are delish (but I'm pretty sure that's pork). The chives pie is refreshing. Honestly, go with friends and eat family-style. The soups come in massive bowls, so they aren't an appetizer for one, for sure. It's all prepared just for you so it's super fresh. And considering the portion sizes, it's cheap eats.I can't wait to return for another meal here, and bring more friends!

Be prepare and study the menu beforehand. It's not the typical Chinese restaurant that caters toward average American consumers. If you know what you're ordering, you'll get great food. If not, then you'll be totally clueless and disappointed. Service was a little strange however. Very minimal. No smile, no friendly vibe, but not offensive either. I felt a bit uncomfortable when they just stared at our table like being judged for sitting there.

We initially came to this shopping center to go to the popular Chinese bakery across the parking lot. We decided to go ahead and get lunch first. As there are numerous restaurants in the center, it was basically an "eeny meeny miny moe" choice and we ended up here. We were so pleased with it. My two kids got their typical General Tso's and it was the best. Nice decor, very prompt service, nice presentation of food and above all, very good. We don't live especially close to Buford Hwy so when we come, we like to try a new place. We will return here. Although the menu did not mention lunch specials, we were offered the lunch choice when placing our order and the three of us ate very generous meals for less than $20.

Hand-pulled noodles are the specialty here. Look through the window at the back of the restaurant and you'll see how they're made! Noodle soups are outstanding, with deeply flavored broths, tender meats, and fresh vegetables. All dishes we tried or saw looked great and I suspect everything on the menu is fabulous and authentic. What you don't finish will be gladly packed up for you to take home.Go get your slurp on!

We have lives in Atlanta for 30 years and have enjoyed numerous Chinese restaurants over the years but had yet to venture into Dim Sum. A friend invited me one Saturday morning and then I returned a few weeks later with my husband and young adult son. We enjoyed a leisurely brunch ordering this and that off of the carts that came by, some hot options, some room temperature. Our favorites were the various types of dumplings plus a sweet bun filled with bean paste and rolled in sesame seeds. Prices were very reasonable.

I'm an on and off vegan and my wife is a vegetarian. This place is interesting to say the least. Many faux meat dishes and you have to wonder how they pull it off so well. Foods good.

My first visit to a Taiwanese restaurant has convinced me that I don't really like Taiwanese dishes. Others in our party might disagree, but nobody was real happy about our experience. Part of the problem is that we ordered off the menu, when probably 80% of their patrons went to the buffet. I checked out the buffet and didn't like what I saw, but there were a lot of choices. I settled for a scallion pancake (just fair -- Indian versions are much better) and hot and sour soup (the soup was very good). Other dishes like their pork noodle soup were bland and/or very greasy. That may be typical but I wasn't impressed. Service was OK, except for my soup, which never arrived until I had to make a special trip to search out our server and remind her. Finally, prices are not cheap.
