We used to live not far from this restaurant, visiting it for special occasions, and returned from Scotland after 12 years on a special trip. We were not disappointed: the food and slick service were exemplary as always. A truly delightful evening in a restaurant buzzing with atmosphere. Thankyou China Rose!

Oriental Palace is a Chinese restaurant in Doncaster, serving Chinese food. Traditional and modern Chinese meals. Discount set menus and group bookings available at Oriental Palace Chinese restaurant.
We had booked a large table to celebrate a large birthday, unfortunately 2 children and 1 adult were sick on the night and our party was reduced. On arrival they made the necessary changes to our booked menu choices and the table was reset for a lesser number. The service was excellent, not too fast or slow, the food was served hot and the quality superb, the staff were plentiful and worked very hard to ensure that everything was top class and we could not fault the facility in any way. The décor is very tasteful and the restaurant has a great ambiance, highly recommended for any occasion.

Been here a couple of times now. Brought some friends that had never been before, they loved it! All the food is freshly cooked, amazing prices too! Crispy duck and chicken curry is the best! Overall my favourite thing about this place is the service, itâs amazing! Mandy and Gee are so welcoming, polite and funny!

Visited Doncaster for the weekend and tried out this restaurant. Despite not being busy, we waited half an hour for our starter. Couldn't understand why others were being served their starter before us and having asked the waitress I can only assume they had overlooked us. I had Peking ribs which were full of fat (yes I do expect some fat) this was more than I'd ever seen. The main course when it arrived looked appealing but it was the most bland chicken satay I'd ever tasted. I do wonder how this restaurant can stand the test of time with poor service and bland food. Oddly, all the tables were set without knives so we had to ask for these for our starter then ask again for knives for our main course . None of the tables had knives which I found bizarre and rather annoying. Restaurant was overpriced too and suffice to say we will not be returning.

Went today for the early dinner for what we paid it was ok if you like Indian and Chinese if you donât your screwed, it was a bit like a cattle market. If we were to visit again weâd go for the evening slot as although itâs a bit dearer thereâs loads more choice of food like steak, fish etc wouldnât visit again during the day.
