Spotted this restaurant on the way back from La Porte to Houston (where we live). Very impressed with the Food, High Quality, Freshly Cooked, Varied Menu. The Place was spotlessly clean. The Staff was great. Authentic Chinese food and Simply Delicious.Wonderful Vegetable Soups and Tastey Dishes and Side Dishes. Good Rice as well. Made our Day out. Also a Good Value for what was prepared and ordered

Ordered the Szechuan Chicken and Shrimp. Asked if the chicken was all white meat, was told yes. There was not really much chicken in the dish and there was dark meat there too...!!! Hot and Sour soup needs a little thicker broth. Ice tea was a bit off considering this is a Chinese restaurant.

Spicy Chen's is better than most Asian restaurants, and the restaurant itself is clean, well-appointed, and attractive. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the menu is varied and tasty. However, I seldom eat in the restaurant. Why? BECAUSE THEY DELIVER! The wait time is usually not too long, and the portions are large enough to make a lunch the next day.

I like Chinese food...even try to cook some. However, this Chinese Wok's food taste better than some I eaten at. The hot/sour soup is very good. The Mongolian beef is spicy, but not too hot. The beef fried rice is a full meal...even the egg rolls are very good (often egg rolls are bland and have old pork taste--these don't). The only thing preventing 5 stars (my rating 4.5 stars) I wish TA had a 4.5 stars for the top ratings and 1.5 stars for the lowest rating....to be really honest in our reviews. There is not enough Mongolian Beef in the container in relationship to the price...it is decent, but not excellent. They will get more of my business as long as the hot sour soup is still very good

I've eaten here numerous times (most recently a week ago, and planning to eat there again tonight) and it has always been great. The variety of food is amazing and it is all good. There are several kinds of soup, sushi, and traditional Chinese buffet hot and cold items, along with a small hibachi section where you can put a bunch of items in a bowl and have them cook it up for you fresh. The service is always friendly. I wish this was located closer to me in League City and I would go more often!
