The only thing that confuses me about this place is that it isn't as busy as it should be!! It is the best Chinese in the area, if you aren't willing or able to travel to Manchester's China Town!! I have been an occasional patron of this venue since it was located on the Main Road, and it has never failed to deliver! Always a fabulous delicious meal. The only stress when visiting Man Lee is choosing your meal, but I have to say if you are a lover of garlic the Garlic Chicken is heavenly! It never ceases to amaze me that Darreners forget that this restaurant still exists and speak about the old place as if it has shut and not relocated to larger premises!!I do not venture out locally often, but when I do I want to ensure that I get good food at a reasonable price, the Man Lee ticks every box and then some!! I would encourage anyone looking for a quality Chinese meal, with excellent friendly service to visit. It is great for parties, families or couples. There is an excellent choice of beers & wine. And Mandy, I think the owner is wonderful.Thank you so much for your review. I shall look forward to seeing you in the future.mandy
The chip portions are so large that one person could rarely finish them. The batter on the fish is really light and crispy. Opens seven day so you can always get served. The Chinese range is very extensive and cooked to order. Not had a bad one yet

Had the prawns in garlic and chilli. Very bland. Like gravy with a chopped chilli and then bulked out with capsicum and onions. Prawns were overdone and chewy. My wife's order was less impressive, her chips were rank.

Weâve had some lovely food, BUT if you opt for home delivery beware!! 40 minutes Hing time is 150 minutes GMT. Please just be honest and if itâs going to take hours, give your customers the truth so they can choose to go elsewhere, particularly when they are pushed for time.
