Being from the Washington DC area we were not aware that Chinese takeouts do not automatically come with white rice which I could not find on the menu anywhere(lots of choices of fried rice)We ordered 2 large chicken meals and an egg roll which was delivered to our hotel. The food itself was pretty good as far as taste goes but was delivered with no plastic forks, plates or napkins!Knowing it was going to a hotel did they expect us to eat it with our hands?!
Where to eat Italian food in Cromwell: The Best Restaurants and Bars
My brother-in-law brought us take-away from Xing Hua one evening. He and G thought it was pretty average, but mom and I loved it. They probably weren't all that impressed because we got a low-salt meal, on the recommendation of some friends. The steamed vegetables, both the plain, and the seafood mix, were good. And the sauce to add was very tasty. I loved the hot and sour soup as well, but they thought it was kind of bland since it wasn't very spicy. Mom and I might have to try some other things on our own next time.
I love the portions and the consistency this restaurant offers.Who does not love having leftover Chinese food? The LoMein is very good. However,I did order the ChowFun one time and the noodles were "thin" and not "wide" as I usually experienced but still good and tasty.

Couldnât wait to return to enjoy dinner here after over a yearâs absence. I opted to relish my favorite entree, General Tso Chicken. Iâve tried it at many other places all across the country and the General Tso Chicken here is absolutely mouth watering. As usual the portions are more than ample at a unbeatable price of $17.00. The staff is always top notch and the bartender is a fantastic person whom I have known for over 10 years. Such a delightful man. The Forbidden City should be on your must try list in Middletown on your next visit. Only regret that I live over 1,000 miles away from this hidden treasure.
