I have lived in China and love Chinese food and this is one of the best. This place is run by a Chinese chef that was brought to Switzerland some years ago to cook in a Chinese restaurant and after some years he went on his own and his wife is now up front. As the name implies, it is Sichuan cooking, but, as in all Chinese restaurants, there are a variety of dishes from all over China on offer. We have eaten at this restaurant many times for dinners as well as lunches and always been very satisfied with the taste as well as of the quality of the food. The service is pleasant and correct.During the week, at lunch, they serve a buffet. We were there for lunch this time. It includes a Soup, a choice of 4 starters, today's choice in parenthesis, (crab claws, deep fried squid, spring roll, deep fried onions), 4 main courses (sweet and sour chicken, Beef Sichuan (very tender), BBQ Pork ribs, a Sichuan Chicken dish, a choice of fried rice and noodles and a mandarin for dessert....all for CHF 18.50....and all you can eat! A real bargain and very good quality. No wonder they had a full house!

Me and my family have been in Noix de Coco in Vevey several times, as always the food is very good and the price reasonable for Swiss standards. They are however becoming victims of their own success. The place is always crowded and thus the service and family atmosphere has somehow faded a bit.I still continue to recommend it to anyone in Vevey.

Three years in Switzerland in search of a good and affordable Chinese restaurant. Let Benediction scored on both counts. We were initially there for lunch on Chinese New Year, found that the wife spoke the Cantonese and the husband (chef) was Malaysian. A good start. At lunchtime, the restaurant offered a selection 2 choices of plats du jour, and at a very reasonable price. I had duck and noodles, which came with soup or salad, great deal for 18chf. The meal was so good I ordered take out from them for dinner, which offered a 10% reduction. Nice selection of meats, seafood and vegetables. The dumpling are all home made. Highly recommend.
