We went to Matsuya last night and the menu selection is great. Sushi, Chinese or Tepenyaki and really some good selections under each section. I had chicken springrolls which were excellent and main meal I had steak and prawn combo of tepenyaki selection which were so good and served with stir fried rice or noodles and the portions are good sizes. My husband had seafood soup and it had crayfish in it and main he had beef peppers from Chinese selection. Both were excellent and far too much. The wine selection was good and reasonable. Will definately return! My sister had same as me and was also really impressed.

This place has been here for years and I eventually decided to pop in with a friend from out of town. A bad idea indeed.More rice than meat, more soup than veg, moe salt than anything else.Off hand service which was bizarre because there were 4 people in the place that day excluding waiters. They just didn't care! How they survive is a mystery. No intention of going back and will advise any body looking for good Chinese food to drive away to Cyrildene or elsewhere.
