Things to do in Boring
Picked up lunch from this place today. Was a bit disappointed in the quantity as well as quality. I ordered the honey walnut shrimp for 2 people but it looked more like a serving for 1. The shrimp was decent but rice was a little dry and undercooked. Also ordered the broccoli beef and it came in a very tiny container. I did like the broccoli but the beef was bland. Tried the veggie spring rolls and the filling inside was very mushy. Couldn't really tell what kind of vegetables they were. I normally wouldn't bother writing about a fast food place but this one was well below average even for this kind of restaurant. Price was high for the amount of food I got. I definitely won't be going back.

Double Dragon is my go to Chinese restaurant in Sandy. They have the best egg rolls I have ever had. They are huge and almost a meal in themselves. I have had many occasions where I was just craving one of those and had to stop in and get one. Sweat and sour chicken and chicken subgum chow mein are the favorites in our house. Prices are not in the cheap category, but not overly expensive. Staff is very friendly and want to make sure the customer is happy.

Portlandia: Season 4, Episode 3. The celery episode. Steve Buscemi has to find a way to make celery more appealing. Not sure if he found a job at Dragon Palace, but after three visits...celery is most certainly the forefront of the restaurant. There are several questions that come to mind as youâre eating your meal. Was celery on sale this week? Is celery the new kale? Again, was celery on sale this week?Damn. So much celery. Not only that, but it was only partially cooked. The raw, crunchy celery taste lingers in your mouth as your taste buds desperately try to cling on to the deliciousness of the chow mein or kung pao chicken. Your tastebuds are quickly disappointed because the overwhelming taste of raw celery doesnât go away. Every bite. Every swallow. Itâs there. Overall, the food is good (would be better if Americaâs cheapest veggie wasnât the forefront of EVERY DISH), hot and sour soup is amazing, and the restaurant is beautiful. The staff is super sweet. Theyâre also not afraid to condense your big table if you look like youâre done, to make room for another group. Speaking from experience, I was in the middle of ordering another beer when my party was asked to pile up their plates to free the second table that was pushed together for us. But in reality, the amount of celery in their dishes is a much bigger deal than their rude customer service. Sorry, Buscemi.

My family has raved about CH in the past but nobody has been here for several years. We arrived about 6:30 on a Saturday night, not busy. We were seated promptly and professionally accommodated. Chinese restaurants are generally faster than most others, but the waitress was back with our main courses before we barely a chance to enjoy the appetizers. The first thing I noticed was the processed chicken (like chicken nuggets) covered with a orange glaze sauce. This Orange Chicken never saw a wok, it was warmed on an oven tray. The Chow Mein was cold and old, the noodles were dry , hard, and stuck together! The Beef Broccoli was Luke warm and bland. In 70+ years of traveling through most of Asia, I have to say the rice was the worst I have even eaten. It had to be over a day old! One big sticky lump! The average is because several people thathave never been out of the Pacific North West and apparently have grown up accepting this quality of food as âgoodâ. If my family and friends come back here,it will be without me!
I love Panda Express and I go to this one once every other week! Their food is so good and the workers are so nice! Their food taste fresh!

IT is fast food Chinese, however, the quality and prEperAtion is a grade above what one expects when you hear FasT FooD. The menu options are varied, providing you the oppOrtuNiy to choOse yoUr riCe, mEat, and veGgie pRefRenCes.. Your oRder is placed @ the counter and your meal is brought to the taBle. The orAnge chiCken is GoOd, as is the pad thai. When in the Gresham area, stop and give them a try.Sunny Han's Wok & Grill serves fresh and reasonably priced food........

I love coming here and concocting my own combination of meats, veggies, sauces etc.I find it hilarious that some reviewers complained the food is bland. You add your own sauces before cooking and afterwards they have other spices and condiments to spice it up as much as you like. So if itâs bland thatâs mostly on you. This is what I love about this place. Always good and the staff is super friendly especially the chefs.

My favorite part of going to Szechuan Open Kitchen was the fact that you could sit and watch them prepare your food. It felt comforting, in a way, being able to see that for yourself. Of course the food was great, the presentation was appreciated, the service minimalistic but still friendly. Overall a great experience.

The American food is greasy but the Chinese food is good. Quite fast on serving.. Not a fancy place but not bad at a for a little town.
