Há»i An is an elegant terrace restaurant within the Westberry Hotel offering superb panoramic views over the ancient town of Bodmin and the countryside beyond. Há»i An offers a wide range of authentic oriental dishes and an equally good selection of contemp
Nice relaxed feel to the restaurant, although the four 2 seater tables that had been pushed together for our family party of 8 left gaps between and wasn't ideal. Service was quite good and attentive, especially from the Vietnamese owner who brought a small birthday cake at the end - always a nice touch. Everyone really enjoyed their starters, mains and desserts - good food all round and happy with the bill.Dear Darrell,Sorry for the late response and thank you very much for your feedback. We have recently extended our restaurant with larger square tables which will make the seating more comfortable for larger groups. I'm glad that your family enjoyed the meal with us and I hope you all had a great trip then.Best wishes,Le.Westberry Hotel & Hoi An Restaurant.

The meals are tasty, filling and great value for money. Can I say more? Yes I can - the people that own/run the Oriental are lovely - they take our orders but never know that we will turn up - which is a travesty! They always serve you with a smile. Good food - good value and (in my personal opinion) - the best Chinese takeaway in town!

This take away was recommended by a local hotel. The hotel was awful and we should have known better when we asked them in good faith for a good local takeaway. We ordered plain rice. The rice smelt strange and tasted very dry, my child was starving and tried to eat a few mouthfuls before vomiting. We ordered the seaweed which was greasy, limp, re-fried several times and then clearly warmed up in a microwave. We also choose three more dishes for our punishment. The pancake rolls, which can only be described as mystery rolls. They were simply a mystery and not happy one. Limp, un-edible and lumpen, gooey, slimy and oddly shaped. We desperately tried in vain to eat the special noodles, but the meat inside was only fit for our dog, it was tasteless and rubbery. We still wonder what meat it was? or why it was covered up in so much soy sauce it was unidentifiable. Finally we thought..we will open the last package which was supposed to be plain noodles, perhaps this would be ok. This was a horrid surprise, stale, fetid, bad smelling bean sprouts, no noodles in sight, instead a slimy fetid sauce. It was clear that someone had decided to give us a package that must surely have been destined for the bin! We attempted to give some of this food to our dog and he would not eat it. We refused to punish the children further with the smell or sight of this food. We threw it away. Please check your orders very carefully if you go to this place. If possible, choose another takeaway, the experience we had was an insult to the Chinese culture.
