Popped in for an impromptu take away. Friendly service, good food and a big bowl of prawn crackers on the house whilst we waited

Ordered a simply order at 19:40 hours on 9th August.I was told it would be 45 mins, so at 20:40 I call back to be told it will be 10 mins.So by 21:00 I was having to call back and chase again. I was then told that I was wrong and that I had not been told the above and were more than happy to just cancel my order.Food was ok when arrived but customer service is .... how do I put it .......Crp

Unfortunate this is the closest Chinese takeaway to us but the food at best is average, much better quality from other takeaways in the town. Dishes are overloaded with vegetables that are not complimentary to the dishes. Have used a few times due to locality but that is the only reason.

I can see why this restaurant is super packed out in Sandy â as the food is fresh, the portions are generous & everything tastes really good! For starters we decided to share everything (tapas style) & we ordered Vegetable Spring Rolls, Crispy Chicken & Breaded Mushrooms (this dish was massive by the way⦠there must have been 12 decently sized mushrooms in the bowl). All of these starters were really fresh tasting & I canât wait to go back to try something else from the starter menu.For mains one of us ordered Chicken & Mushrooms (this was their regular go-to Chinese restaurant dish), someone else had the Chicken with Ginger & Spring Onions (which they said was really nice) & I had the Chicken & Mangetout (again this was a massive portion & there was a lot of mangetout). A mixture of rice was chosen to accompany our mains: Egg Friend Rice, Special Fried Rice & Boiled Rice â this was some of the nicest tasting Chinese rice Iâve actually eaten! Will be back here if ever Iâm in Sandy to try more dishes from the extensive menuÂ
