Reviews on Chinese food in Bergamo, Province of Bergamo, Italy. Bergamo is a northern Italy treasure. Dating from 49 BC, Bergamo has two centers: the Alta (upper) city and the Bassa (lower) city, connected by a funicular and walking trails. For historic sites, go to Alta for the Piazza Vecchia, the Cattedrale di Bergamo e Battistero, and the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore Baptistry, as well as the quirky mausoleum of Rastelli, the world famous juggler. Bassa is more modern and residential, and boasts Via 20 Settembre - the shopping district.

On our last night in Italy we decided after some great reviews to eat here! It cost us 35 euro return from NH Betgamo in a taxi but the food was very reasonable I was disappointed in the food ! It was just average and they had no rice?? they did there best to translate what we would like ! My dish definitely got lost in translation Nice staff wasn't worth the taxi faresI'm really sorry that the evening when you came here, the rice was finished, unfortunately, it happens.I clearly remember when I asked you, it is ok the dinner??you told me: FANTASTIC! FANTASTIC DINNER !! WITH THUMB UP ..so why did you have to pretend and then said disappointment behind the pc ??it does not seem correct to us,to be able to help you call the taxi to return back to hotel, I made almost a 20 minutes call.more than that I don't know what to do.by the way,4km distance , the taxi charged you 35 euro, I think you can make the complaint ,it's not correct

Just for a change from Italian food we chose this Chinese restaurant from TA. It is a short walk from the main Street Papa Giovanni. The room has a relaxing Chinese interior. Food was very good. Spring rolls, fried wontons and prawn dumplings for starters. Chicken curry and sweet and sour chicken for mains were all very good. We had to try deep fried ice cream for dessert, it was our first time, too sweet for me but my daughter loved it. Drinks were good value. Service professional and attentive. Toilets spotless. I recommend.

Probably the worst sushi we've ever had. And we've had quite a lot. Sushi itself is pretty tasteless. The rice is kinda wet. The nori sheets are leathery. Combine that with the slow service and long waiting time and you can imagine why we were really disappointed. The current rating is really misleading. We discourage anyone to go here.
