A chinese 'as much as you can eat' buffet with an enormously varied choice including some Japanese and other cultural dishes plus a wonderful variety of desserts to follow. If my memory serves me well I believe the cost was â¬16.99 per person plus drinks. The food was good quality and very tasty. Without a good command of the French language I expected to struggle a bit but the waitress who showed us to our table immediately passed us to an English speaking member of staff who was friendly, amusing and very informative.

Wa fu sur lâenseigne , le bonheur en salle , accueille souriant , buffet régulièrement réapprovisionné , le cuisinier à des gants , très bien , et je l'ai remarqué à plusieurs reprise , beaucoup de choix , et de tous, froid ou chaud et le wok , après chaque client tous et nettoyé , bravo et merci , Dommage la fumé du wok en plein coup de feu , deviens étouffant, nous nous sommes vraiment régalés !

I have stopped in Auxerre many times, travelling back to England through France. Apart from Auxerre being a lovely place to visit, it has the best chinese buffet I have ever had. It is about 100 yards from the Ibis centre hotel, which in itself is nothing to rave about, except it is convenient for this restaurant.This is not the usual MSG saturated, fat laden offering, but a well blended large choice of dishes. Items like proper whole prawns, fish and chinese style frogs legs! They also have a large selection of uncooked items which you can put on a plate and take to the Wok counter, where they will stir fry the contents in your presence.Finally, the service is very good, with almost immediate clearance of used plates and the bill at the end of your meal will not break the bank.

On a snowy Sunday at Auxerre nothing was open apart from pizza chains. It was excellent value and service. The food was better than anything in england we've ever eaten. The set menu we chose was from Thailand, although they do Vietnamese as well. There were several French people eating in there too. The owner who served was attentive and welcoming. The bill was 40, 90 Euro which included wine, beer and coffee.what a bargain.

Stayed in the Cerise hotel round the corner so it was convenient not having to drive. Food was average, good selection and it is an all you can eat buffet. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Price was reasonable for what you got but not sure I would rush back.

Fantastic value weekday lunch menu and with the house wine also excellent value this was an impromptu lunch stop which turned into a real treat. The food was excellent, the atmosphere and service nice and we will certainly be thinking about returning for more. â¬32 for two for two courses including a bottle of wine, 1 house cocktail, 1 dessert and two coffees. Beat that!
