Our fourth time to visit this restaurant, everytime we get in town we always try to make time to eat here. One of our favorite is their orange chicken, crispy noodles and fried pork chop. Again it never fails to impress us the quality, the service is quick and friendly

In this hyper-competitive South Baldwin Ave area of affluent (Chinese dominant) Arcadia, this place really stands out. The lunch special includes almost everything on the lunch menu, the portions are very generous and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The food quality is excellent (I loved the pork chops) and these folks really want to earn your business. Skip any of the nearby "trendy" places and bring your business here - lots of free parking and great deal for your money.

Great food. Very authentic Taiwanese food you can't find elsewhere. Prices are reasonable. The shave ice is worth a visit alone! The service is a tad better than typical Chinese small dining establishments. Still harried, and not particularly warm and friendly, but at least they are efficient and the food comes quickly.

China Red stands out from the other Dim Sum Restaurants by being a very elegant classy restaurant with beautiful decor, nice seating, great service, and a very nice environment to enjoy great dim sum. The portion size is a little larger than some other similar restaurants, but the real difference is in the taste; China Red gets it right. They give you a great all around experience that is really enjoyable, which is much more than you can say for a lot of Chinese restaurants. Pricey, but worth it.

Nice, friendly staff, but the food is very average. A little too oily for us. Portion size was just OK. Plenty of parking - open area strip mall

In the ocean of Asian-style eateries of the San Gabriel Valley, it's easy to miss this gem. This is a 'Hong Kong" menu style restaurant, which means they serve dishes of all different ethnic styles - Chinese, Japanese, European, traditional American, etc. They serve all of these dishes just perfectly - just the right amount of seasoning and with huge portions for very reasonable prices. During normal meal times this place is absolutely packed so be sure to come at off-peak hours. This is a perfect place for families and for everyone in the group to have their own choice. Secondly, the service is excellent and very friendly and fast. However - and this may seem like a strange recommendation - this is our family's favorite place for non-Chinese food. Of course, the place is packed with Chinese customers, so the Chinese food is probably very good but this place is way better and more affordable than any local traditional American food restaurant. Also, they are open late every night which is a real bonus. Finally, most dinners come with a small bowl of soup and/or small bowl of spaghetti (go figure). At any rate, every aspect of the food, down to the steamed vegetables and side dishes is very well prepared.Simply put, this is a must see place for out of town visitors and should be the go-to place for locals.

We had to go. This is the original Panda #1. The place all the other Pandas express come from. Extremely good food (try the orange chicken) and friendly service. We went on Christmas day. They serve an incredible Sunday brunch too.

This is our first time in Haidilao restaurant. Saw many in China but they look exclusive and expensive, so had not tried it. In California with so many competitive hotpot restaurants of different styles, Haidilao with its higher class environment, service and food quality, is actually attractive for occasional splurges, relaxing and not rushed. We came here for lunch and it is not crowded. Individual pots and own selection of broth (so many choices). I had the coconut chicken broth, costing a few dollars more. Tasty but slightly too sweet, probably because for one person, it is too strong. All the meat, dumplings, veggies, tofu etc are all very fresh and good. The special dumplings with caviar inside are unusual and interesting. We ordered too much. Costing about $50 pp including good tips and beer. Could have been less expensive if we ordered less. But still worth the leisurely two hours.
