Delicious Kung Po Shrimp! Called while on I99 and placed my order, was told "ready in 10-15". Arrive in ten minutes and everything was ready and very delicious. Will definitely return and I'm fairly sure they deliver.

Have eaten here numerous times before and was always good. Tonight service took forever, I was the only one there and for takeout. Ribs were way overcooked. Egg roll was undercooked as if they had forgotten them. Im hoping it was just an off night as it is usually good. Will give another shot. Hopefully they redeem themselves

Don't be fooled by the impression Eastern Express gives from the outside. It's in a nondescript strip in an old Altoona neighborhood but the food is fantastic! Everything is prepared to order. There is nothing sitting around in warming drawers or trays. Fried rice is a good bellwether for Chinese food (like pad thai is for Thai). At Eastern Express, fresh vegetables are taken straight from the refrigerator and combined with fluffy (not sticky) brown rice in a wok while you wait (or between the time you placed an order and arrived to pick it up). No MSG or salt added. There are several Chinese restaurants in Altoona. I have been to all of them. If you want ambiance, this is not for you. If you want the best Chinese food around, then this is the place!

Ordered delivery through Great China's app and within 35 minutes my dinner was delivered. The Shrimp Pad Thai (extra hot) was delicious and not too hot. Made the perfect dinner. Also ordered the Hot & Sour soup which was very good. House Special Rice for later in the week and the shrimp were divine. Overall some very delicious Chinese delivered with a smile. Will order again!

I stopped here on a business trip. They have a really good selection of different food including sushi. I really liked the steak and the General Tsos chicken. I will say that a lot of the food while good didn't have a whole lot of flavor. I thought it was very well priced and the staff was very helpful in keeping the plates cleaned off the table.

I came here for the lunch buffet. It was pretty good. Not the greatest I've ever had but not bad either. One of the chicken dishes I tried (can't remember which one) was very dry like it was over cooked. But the peppered steak was awesome. Very tender and flavorful. I'm a big lover of egg drop soup and theirs was awesome as well. I would like to go back and try the dinner.
