We have never been disappointed at this little Chinese restaurant tucked away in North Albany Village across the river from downtown Albany. The service is always friendly, fast and efficient. Our food has always arrived at the table hot and tasty. We especially like the orange chicken and the house chow mien. The prices are right too. The two of us eat for less than $20 for dinner. They serve lunch for $4.99 every day and all day Sunday. And... they have wifi.
All you can eat wonderful selection and it all taste great. Very good service and attentive staff. Check it all you before you decide.
Where to eat Pizza food in Albany: The Best Restaurants and Bars
Made my first visit to Panda Express here in Albany, thought have enjoyed meals with this restaurant chain in multiple airports. It was really good. The parking had plenty of spaces available right next to the door, and when I walked in it was clean and spotless! The staff working behind the counters were extremely friendly and helpful while I made my choices. Plenty of meal variety to choose from, and the line went very quickly (only 3 people in front of me.)Appreciated knowing that there is a drive-up if I find it necessary in the future. Had my meal to go, but there were lots of tables to sit and enjoy your meal on site. Must say, all of the staff were very friendly, with smiles as I walked through making my choices. It was nice to have such a positive experience in a "fast food" restaurant. Other places in our town could learn from this restaurant how to treat their customers right!Enjoy!

Came here for the first time on Mothers Day. It was busy, but not packed. Service was very slow and the wrong drink was brought to me on more than one occasion. Food was typical American Chinese food. Smaller portions that I would have expected.ALl in all it was just fine, but I don't see us coming back.
Oregon, United States Food Guide: 8 Bar food Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Albany
Very nice atmosphere. Pool, video games. No smoke to deal with. Our first visit was to pick up oriental food & it was great! 2nd visit for pub food and it was great, good portions, good price, not greasy food. Laurie is awesome! She recommend plates for best combination/deals. Worth a visit or more. Fun night out & I am not a bar person.

Short and sweet. everything was very good. A couple items we ordered weren't as crisp as if we ate it there, but can knock them as we had it delivered. Huge portions and well priced. Def try the szechuan chicken. Don't let the older building fool you. Hole in the wall places tend to be the best.

This restaurant was clean and offered a wide variety of food items. Sushi was actually pretty good. They had a lot of meat dishes including crab, clams, mussels, and many chicken choices. I have to say save room for hard hand scooped ice cream in 5 flavors because that was my particular favorite item. I thought the food was served hot and the staff was very accommodating and helpful contrary to another review I saw. The senior discount was nice.

Large Servings and can be family style, very good Chinese, American Food, with good service. Close to the Albany Airport and Fair Grounds...
Summary: Avoid this establishment at all costs. Seriously, go hungry instead. It's that bad. I very rarely leave reviews because most places just aren't worth the trouble. A place has to be great or one of the worst ever for me to do so. Lum Yuen falls into the latter category, The only positive thing about my meal here was that the green tea was decent. Not hot, mind you, but decent tasting. I ordered the orange chicken with steamed rice. When the orange chicken was served in a pyrex casserole dish, maybe that should have been a warning. When the orange chicken had whole slices of orange in it, rather than just orange peel, maybe that should have been a warning. But, I forged ahead anyways and tried it. I'm not sure what the meat was that was deep fried, but it sure wasn't like chicken that I've seen or eaten anywhere else in the country. it tasted a lot like the boiled goat that I had when visiting Guadalupe 12 years ago. Steamed rice is supposed to be at least moderately white, right? This rice was gray. I ate one bite, drank 6 more cups of the tea, asked for my check and left. I did leave a reasonable tip because the one lady serving the 16 tables in the restaurant was working hard, and the quality of food wasn't her doing. But I will go hungry before considering this place again.
