Our large group of diners was seated near the buffet table. The selections are numerous ranging from three soups, egg rolls, a variety of chicken dishes, beef and broccoli, shrimp & vegetable dishes, plus others and ending with many dessert options including ice cream. All sampled dishes were hot, refilled frequently and very tasty. The prices are very reasonable. Service was excellent with empty plates being removed quickly, water and hot tea replenished promptly and just all around pleasant people. A large menu is also available. One person we observed had ordered the two pound rockfish entree and claimed it to be excellent. Our group has selected and enjoyed this restaurant numerous times and have always been satisfied.

I live directly behind this restaurant, literally within baseball pitch distance, so I frequent it. The food is ok, nothing to write home about, but it is inexpensive and hits the spot for a party of one.Their lunch buffet runs from 1100-1430, and is $6. Their dinner selection is takeout only, which I found slightly odd, but living where I do it doesn't really matter. They carry Japanese and Chinese cuisine, all made to order. The staff are friendly enough, but mostly all business. That's to be expected in the culture. So no stars off for the staff attitude. :)

Very good food. I got shrimp egg Foo young and it was one of the best I have had. Chicken chow mein was excellent. Very good egg rolls. They even gave us fried wonton free. They give a lot of sauces and fortune cookies.

This is a very typical strip mall Chinese restaurant. The food was as expected. Portions are large. Their egg rolls are huge. The atmosphere is all right. The restaurant is neat and clean, but definitely more focused on carry out rather than dine in.The restaurant is cash only. Don't expect to pay with your debit or credit card.

One complaint: My complaint is that this place is SO good that it has pretty much ruined all the places that I thought were very good in my home town. It just won't be the same anymore! The Front Desk at my hotel recommended China Palace to me. Good call. Here's the good stuff: 1. I called for delivery at 9:50PM on a night when they closed at 10. No problem at all. And we weren't all that close to the restaurant. 2. Fast, friendly delivery. It came so hot, we had to wait for it to cool down. 3. The food. We ordered the Shrimp Toast. Absolutely the best ever. Light, fluffy, and stuffed. Six pieces could have been a meal. Moo Goo Gai Pan: Just the best we ever had. Mongolian Beef: You know that tough beef that is in just about all Chinese dishes? Not here. Tender, plentiful, and with perfectly seasoned and cooked onions. Again, the best we ever had. Maybe the most amazing item was the Steamed Pork Dumplings. HUGE. Another item that could've been a meal in itself. The dipping sauce was perfection. The seasoned pork was, well, you know - the best we ever had. You guys do it right. Lucky people in Havre de Grace to have you. Next time we're in the area, we're coming to the restaurant. Can't wait to see what you do with table service - and try many other items on your menu.
