We are on our way on the Carratera Austral and we decided to visit the Parque Nacional Queulat just beside Puyuhuapi. At the day we arrived we wanted to eat something at another place here so we asked from the local police walking on the street where it is located. That restaurant was closed so we asked them about any restaurant they would recommend us. So following their advice we tried this place and it was an excellent recommendation! The place is in the city centre, always alive, it is simple inside but we loved the concept of the dishes as you can see on our pictures. Everything is 7000 CLP in combination of meat/fish and side dish as you want. Prepare yourself that sometimes they dont have certain things here so the possibilities are more limited. Your meal contains one home-made bread and true butter also as an entree before your meal. We loved this food! The fish - not only merluza but the congrio also - was perfectly prepared "a la plancha" (on the grill) and the salad was without vinegar/oil/whatever and extremely fresh and organic mainly from their greenhouse just beside. And it contained avocado also..so I felt I am in the heaven. And the colours of the meal! A really artistic experience for your eyes :) We avoid to eat salmon in Chile because of the excessive use of the antibiotics. At the end after having a dinner we returned to have a lunch the next day. I have a very special diet not to eat sugar, wheat (carbohydrates) and most of dairy products so I was extraordinary happy finding this great place. If you like the microbrewery beers you can drink here a local Ales like blond, red and brown produced by Hopperdietzel in the city. The service is so fast that you cannot eat the entree before the main dish will be served. And of course there is wifi here, a really good one, so I had a possibility to write this review for them :) Thankyou!

The food is really good and the place is a lot nicer and cleaner than the other restaurants in town that charge you similar prices. I had a salmon and my girlfriend a lomo which were both cooked to perfection. Prices are ok (10 to 15 USD in Jan 2015).

I love it. Great service, nice decoration, is not a cheap or a fast food place, is a good restaurant in a small town. Good quality.

I had a "jugo natural" and a piece of lemon pie. It´s been delicious, but quite expensive though. The service was good. Too bad there´s no place to sit outside. The menu offers lunch and dinner, too - mostly the common salmon, merluza and lomo, plus pizza.
Puyuhaipi is quite a quiet and small town, so we weren't sure of finding a good place to have a coffee. When we arrived at Senderos, the café seemed to be closed but the hostess opened to our knock. She was very kindly, lighting the fire and ensuring everybody was comfortable. We didn't eat but the drinks were good and before leaving we ended up buying some of the local art/craft on display.

It was our best dinner since we started the carretera austral, a very tasty vegetable risotto (daily menu). We enjoyed the local beer and we were nicely surprised to receive appetisers while waiting for the main ordered dish.
