We (family with teens) had a delicious lunch here. Freshly prepared meals, very friendly staff. Loved the tagliatelle, crostini misti and my son really liked the crostata alla nutella. Quality-price ratio is great An absolute must if you are looking for a nice place to eat in Arezzo!

My italian friends invited me for Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The food is fabulous. Everything is served to the table, and I lost count of how many different dishes there were. Three of them with truffles, their speciality. The restaurant was full of families celebrating birthdays, primo communione, and so on. It is recommended to book in advance. It' slow located in the country Tayside and we'll worthwhile the drive. You can visit Michelangelo's birth home and Anghiari, Montevarchi and Sansepolcro. Our sole Sunday activity was the lunch.

Simpatico e funzionale recupero di un locale di edilizia scolastica, sotto âbotteghinaâ di specialità gastronomiche, sopra ristorante gradevole. Menù con proposte tradizionali e non solo che ci hanno spinto a provare. Tagliere di antipasto molto buono e vario, nonché enorme. Altrettanto buoni e abbondanti i tortelli di patate con porcini e tartufo. Avevamo scelto il cervo, presente in carta, ma dopo aver ordinato ci hanno comunicato che non era disponibile. Abbiamo preso il tomahawk di manzo con porcini: molto scenografica la presentazione, buono, sapore molto forte, cottura discreta ma un poâ troppo condito di sale grosso in uscita che alla fine ha un poâ condizionato il piatto. Infine, porcini fritti molto buoni. Carte dei vini un poâ da rivedere, non tanto per la qualità ma per la presentazione a voce che non rende più di tanto. Prezzi corretti con porzioni più che abbondanti. In conclusione, si vedono, specie nel servizio, pur se cortese e rapido, qualche imprecisione e incertezza, ma il posto è aperto da poco e quindi ci può stare qualche sbavatura. Lo consiglio e torneremo se le premesse sono queste...

Girovagando per i dintorni di Arezzo , per lâora di pranzo ci siamo trovati in questo bellissimo posticino .. location davvero tipica toscana , accoglienza top La tagliata migliore che io abbia mangiato , davvero ! Un bel bicchiere di vino e il pranzo è servito !Complimenti davvero ! Se ricapiteremo nei dintorni sicuramente ci torniamo !Grazie !

Restaurant among the oldest in Arezzo, in the hills a little out of town, with a terrace with views of the valley. The overall style of the restaurant is quite ordinary, here what counts is the substance of what you eat. Only one important flaw, they do not give the menu to choose and see the prices ... so I suggest you give up the appetizers, get a trio taster of starters (good) and then switch to the real specialty: grilled meat (very choreographic the fireplace with huge expanse of grills) ... personally I prefer the mixed grilled meats (rabbit, pork, chicken, steak, etc.) but certainly also the simple Fiorentina its worth, with "uccelletto" beans (with tomato, garlic and sage) for side dish. Let place in the stomach for dessert, a version of their unique frozen cream and then to the digestive liqueur of herbs in flaked ice. Prices, especially meat, recently rose up perhaps a bit too much, but the quality and pleasantness of the experience as a whole is certainly worth it.

This was recommended by a friend and is well worth seeking out, it is a little way out of Castiglion Fibocchi and not well signposted. We were taken from the carpark to the buildings on an electric golf cart driven with typical Italian verve. Lunch was a nice selection of cooked meats and cheese served with a fresh salad and washed down with their own very reasonably priced wine.

We had a great lunch at this restaurant and service was excellent.We order appetizers, pasta and meat. Everything was delicious. As dessert we order a "crostata" , clearly home made, it was so good that we order another one. I definitely recommend this place.

This taverna is rather out-of-the way but well worth seeking out. Warm welcome, helpful host who sat down with us to help us make our choices. Good choice, and they would have adapted their menu to our needs. All the food freshly cooked. We had a delicious meal, good wine list as well. Not too costly either. Thoroughly recommended.
