The place is definitely my favorite Osteria all around, beautiful and romantic terrasse, a great wine cellar and very original dishes, with a slight preference for fish food, though I remember having tested a tender Florentine beef sirloin steak a couple of years ago. The boss, Stefano, will help you to make the best choice of wine, depending on whatever youâre going to eat.

fresh pasta produced by us and cooked to eat on site or take away, second courses of the Pisan tradition, fresh carpaccio of chianina meat, raw salmon, fresh tuna. chef's salads, vegan, vegetarian, chicken, sea, cheese.
Had the ragu and the pasta with ricotta and eggplant. Lovely friendly service, price cannot be beaten (at â¬5 each). The pasta was cooked to perfection, however I found the sauce a too salty for my liking. Definitely worth a stop on the way back from leaning tower.

Prezzi giusti. Prenotare qualche giorno prima, altrimenti tutto pieno sempre.

A "Bimbotto was the nickname of a great grandfather that gave rise to the name of the place. Already in the early '900 was present at the mall activities such as bars, food and tobacco (the old shops) and still today and in full swing. It should be noted
By coincidence we found this place, great team, very affordable food. Antipasti surprisingly good , What a tasts. The boss with the help of his ladies is serving you and entertaining. Its a place for locals. Some people come only for their pizzaâs , great variety. The first evening antipasti , and we shared a pizza and very very Nice ravioli. Our ânaboursâ took their famous e beefrib with patate with their housewine . Seeing this we came back the next evening to try this .......we liked thisSimple advice try this restaurant when you are nearby.Simple advice for the chef; stop smooking it will kill you , not only disappointing for the family but also for the customers. Thanks for coming and thank you very much for the nice words,Regards.Nicola del Bimbotto

This business has been in the same family for 75 years . This is the real deal - authentic Tuscan. We liked it so much we went to La Cecca three times for our 16 days in the area. It was noticeable the number of Italians that were eating here by far in the majority and many were obviously regulars from the welcome from the staff. Alway a good sign. There is an extensive menu but everything we had was absolutely excellent. From the stake tartar, Tuscan lamb and rabbit with wild fennel to the artichoke soufflé, stuffed zucchini (courgette) , goats cheese tart and asparagus risotto - something for everyone, carnivores and vegetarians alike. The fish looked excellent also but we did not sample as we had loads of seafood & fish in another excellent restaurant. The wine list is also extensive with emphasis on Italian wines and wines from the local area Luccese. Some of the waiters have excellent knowledge of the wines on the list and have good English also. The service is super. efficient but friendly. Finally, the setting was really lovely. This place is out in the middle of the countryside so you will need a car or use a taxi. Take the taxi so that you can make use of the very good and interesting wine list. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and excellent value for money. If you are in the area do not miss out o the opportunity to eat here!!

In una delle suggestive architetture del Parco Monumentale di Corliano è ospitato un ristorante che viene definita Osteria dove viene servita una cucina di mercato con echi mediterranei e materie prime locali, dalla pasta all'olio, dalla carne al pesce. U
Speciality of the Day Tuna, offered ouside the set menu, grilled or baked with breadcrums sounded attractive, specially when I asked what Tuna is was, Yellow Fin.Great, 3 orders please all grilled, that`s where the disappointment kicked in, 3 times so overcooked with nothing Pink or reddish left, just a grey dry texture, a faillure from the kicthen, far to long in de pan, pff a beginners mistake,Reclamation to the waiter, let to NO result, just the short answer, you need to talk to the manager, that`s it.The ambiance of the place made some good, its has this historic atmosphere, so typical for Tuscany. If around again I will walk in for a coffee or so en leave the dinner thing.
