Opened till 1966, tuscan food, garden for summer time, romantic dinner.
This restaurant is just outside Montepulciano, across from a church, with - unusual for Montepulciano - plenty of parking. We ate outside in a lovely garden and had a wonderful meal. I can't find anything negative to say about the entire experience. This is the only restaurant we visited in Montepulciano, but after having walked around the town and seen the options on the main street, it is hard to see how any of them could hold a candle to this place.

We came for lunch with total 4 adults, 1 kid and 2 babies. Although there was not a lot of space, the restaurant staff welcomed us and made place to assure we could have a nice lunch there. The food was really nice, we had different dishes, antipasti, pasta and mains and all were really good and tasty. Next to that the services remained really great. We had a very nice lunch because of this!

Our restaurant La Bottega del Nobile offers fine Tuscan cuisine. We use fresh and local products. The ingredients of this natural cuisine are prepared every day from our Chef Andrea in an elegant and refined way. We are also equipped to welcome our guests
I seldom give 5 stars rating, this is absolutely deserving of the 5 stars. Food: Amuse bouche with Prosecco- werw not expecting this. The tagliatelle with red & yellow tomatoes & basil, the lamb shank, the seafood soup , hazelnut dessert were all delicious.Service : Outstanding service by Francesco. He is very knowledgeable about the wines and the food. We asked for recommendations for vineyards and he immediately provided and patiently spelt out the names for us. My friend and I shared the lamb shank & they served it in 2 plates - thumbs up indeed. Great employee on the team, very happy to hv him serving our table, on our 1st night in Montepulciano! :) Francesco merita i vostri complimenti è bravissimo e professionale grazie per le belle parole per avere gradito la nostra cucina vi aspettiamo sempre con tanto piacere

Pane vino & zucchero is not a restaurant , but rather a " cucineria " which is a place where you eat well, drink and enjoy yourself with your friends and family . The word perfectly describes our eatery where we warmly welcome our guests and share with th
We have been here 2 years ago and this time, several dishes seemed even better. The interesting salads are still very good and very unique for a Tuscan restaurant. The pici with sausage, cheese, and dried fruit was the best I have ever had. My wife's gnocchi with zucchini flower pesto was also excellent and again different to anywhere else we eat. Their idea for tiramisu was really good. We went back a second time and everything was excellent. We met a wondrous part of the "team" Beatrice and also met the new owner, who assured us the restaurant would not change. Good wine list with correct prices. Must reserve via phone as they can be packed at night, not so much for lunch.

In the heart of the city Poliziano, in the cellars of the Palace Bucelli, one of the most characteristic buildings of Montepulciano, is born The Other Corners, a restaurant that reflects the typical Tuscan tradition eras with a modern, using only local pr
We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Cantuccio, opting to sit inside, where the tables are comfortably spaced and the decor bright and modern.Several of our menu selections were innovative, with interesting combinations of flavours and textures. Likewise, the local wines were interesting and delicious. The service was friendly and quite professional.Although the prices weren't cheap, we thought that overall, the quality of the food and wine represented reasonable value.

Went with the waiter's recommendation of the Penelope sandwhich (which I ordered) and Pappardelle Cinghiale (which my husband ordered). Both dishes were exceptional!! The service was very good as well! Highly recommend!!

Just returned from a fabulous meal at Osteria La Botte Piena. Lovely location in the small hill top village of Montefollonico with a nice outdoor setting.Good selection of foods and wine on offer with passionate staff. If you are wanting rustic Italian food then this is not for you but If you are looking for something trendy and modern, then this is the place for you.

Nice lunch in the back garden coverd for rain. Served by what may be father and son, jolly and homly feeling and good traditional tuscan food. Wish we had tried the pasta, coocked and put into! a large pecorino where they carve the cheese to blend in. Very interesting way of doing it and looked really good! Also recommend if you want to practise some Italian.

Because it's good, it's busy, usually with locals, which is always a good sign. Daniel is a friendly English speaking manager, his partner is a wonderful cook. My wife says the Picci with beef Ragu is the best she's ever had and we've been going to Italy for 10 years. The Steaks are wonderfull in fact we've never had a bad meal yet and we've eaten there often. I've never tried one but the Pizzas look fantastic too. The name if the place is Il Botteghino so there may be another page elsewhere. We eat here at least twice a year.

Cloister of the XV century . with the restaurant in the lodge with menus that change weekly and a wide selection of local wines also to the chalice ; the courtyard is home to the Longe Bar open in the summer time with cocktails and a wide selection of loc
On our first night of our Tuscany adventure we wanted something a little special and the owner of our Villa recommended Chiostro Cennini - it did not disappoint! On arriving we were warmly greeted by Lucia and guided through the large wooden doors of the ancient town into a beautiful rustic courtyard filled with music and laughter. The first port of call, to meet her mother and father who has prepared snacks for all the dinner guests - it was wonderful! and set the tone for the rest of the evening. The food was excellent, the local wine was lovely and but it was the atmosphere that just grabbed you and pulled you in - it was a lovely, warm, welcoming, relaxing and oh so enjoyable. My only regret is that we did not get to return - a week in Sarteano is just not long enough!
