No pizza available at lunch time, which was big disappointment. They had some daily specials but those were not offered to foreign tourists proactively, just like house wines were obviously also only for Italians and tourists were offered bottled more expensive ones. Pastas were good as expected, but next time will prob go elsewhere.

After a strenuous climb to the civita in Bagnoregio, we were happy to get some great advice and arrive at this ristorante. The risotto was excellent and the house wine more than adequate. The service was friendly and efficieint. The presence of locals assured us of the quality of the food.

Restaurant, wine bar, cafeteria. Our menu offers local cuisine with attention to local products. Selections of wines from Tuscia and from all Italian regions. Extraordinary craft beer.
We stopped here for a drink on a hot day on our way to the Civita. The place initially looked quite small but then we realised it has a garden area at the back which was cool and peaceful. The service was very friendly and good and I wished we'd been around to try it in the evening too, for a chilled glass of wine.Grazie per esservi fermati nel nostro giardino, siamo lieti di avervi fatto "assaggiare" un po' del nostro delizioso pezzo d'Italia, la Tuscia. Un caro saluto da tutto lo staff! Maria Teresa

My son and I arrived there on a late afternoon expecting everything they promise on their website. Not so! The dinner was really bad; How can you call a ready to eat mixed veggie soup "a fresh vegetable cream???" and on top of it all, it was cold! Asked for a glass of red wine, Marco, the owner brings me a whole bottle! My son's beef steak was tough and his baked potatoes, a mere 10 piece count! But, their olive oil was excellent. And well, their welcoming was very warm..unlike our room, nice, clean, but kind of falling apart; shower doors, bad odour in general... as it was their first opening day of the season, the rooms were not warm at all, no adequate blankets either! Last, but not least, their wi-fi was nowhere to be found in our room, except maybe in the vicinity of the front desk, which was where we ended up spending a part of our evening. Marco was kind enough to let me use his phone as mine had no signal. Breakfast was a usual one, with store bought cakes, artificial orange juice, nothing grand. All, in all, I'd go back in the summertime except the food was the very negative aspect of our experience. Too bad...the site, the surrounding gardens and the views are awesome! And so was Marco's father's pleasant chat in front of the chimney at dinner time!don't worry, it changed management and we hope to have you back as our customers. we have a very good chef and wifi in the roomsBest regardsValeriano

Upon arriving in Orvieto I was told by an American quartet that the place in town to get the best Spaghetti Carbonara was down the street. Now this is information that I did not request; so I reasoned that they must have just enjoyed a surreal dish. But having arrived late, my buddy largely responsible for the missed train, this restaurant as well as all the other restaurants in town were closed, I had to settle for a cabdy bar and can of coke...cookies for dessert. Now...After reading reviews it became clear what restaurant theyâre were talking about and I made a reservation. It was quaint with red checkered table cloths reminiscent of the 1950âs American version of an Italian restaurant. Our 2 waiters were very attentive to your every need. My buddy and I ordered the carbonara without an appetizer because of the sheer size of the plate. The pancetta was beautifully sautéed on top and was plentiful throughout the dish. The pasta was mixed beautifully with the egg mixture and made for a very satisfying Spaghetti Carbonara. The house wine was just fine, as with most Italian restaurants; but the other selections were reasonable as well. For dessert I opted for the panna cotta accompanied by a double espresso. My buddy...too full. A perfect ending to a classic dish!

Our party of six enjoyed a terrific meal at this little restaurant on our last evening in Todi: my wife especially loved her angus steak with truffles while I had a mixed grill consisting of pork, chicken, beef, and sausage. The food was excellent, with wine and beer on the side. Leonardo, our waiter, was very courteous and charming, and provided top class service. Prices were very reasonable!

8 friends dined here at the recommendation of the owner of the Villa we were renting ( the amazing Villa Selvamica ). So glad we did, as it was such a fabulous experience. As previous reviewers have said it is family run and there is so much love shared with the food they bring out to you. I agree with someone who said it was too much - we also could not get through it all and took home lots of remainders which were just as sensational the following night. I am not complaining though as every dish was sensational. I truelly fantastic authentic experience. Thanks a lot for coming guys! See you soon!
