Bordered by the Kotorosl and Volga rivers, the historic city center of Yaroslavl is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The religious architecture is breathtaking and surreal, especially the emerald-domed Church of Elijah the Prophet and the gilded towers of the Assumption Cathedral. Numerous theaters, a philharmonic, a planetarium and a permanent circus round out the city’s art scene. Keep an eye on the time: Every hour on the hour, the proud namesake of the Monument to Bear statue gives a triumphant roar.

A standout among Yaroslavl restaurants with Bavarian classics The hotel's on-site restaurant, Paulaner, offers guests a traditional Bavarian experience within the heart of Yaroslavl. The restaurant's menu features authentic Bavarian fare and a wide select
We dined with friends well. All dishes are excellent, and the portions are huge. We suggest you go here hungry. The beer selection for every taste. The waiters know the menu and all help with this. The restaurant is large and bright, comfortable to sit here at any time of the day.

Restaurant of Russian and European cuisine in the historical center of Yaroslavl. Creating the âSkazkaâ, we were inspired by the harmony of nature and the dynamism of the city. In the elements of the interior you can recognize the urban surroundings and t
This restaurant and wine bar must be the best place in town.We dined at Skazka last night. Food was very interesting; best ingredients, intelligently and attractively presented. Innovative, but not fiddled-with.Amongst the dishes, all apparently Russian in derivation, but presented in an attractive world-style were: a fine duck pate, interesting and tasty baked beetroot salad, beefcheek ( I think) ground and formed into an up-market burger. Followed by an excellent chocolate dessert with mixed berry ice-cream. Menu is illustrated and self-explanatory.Most staff spoke limited English, but are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The sommelier, Alexei, speaks excellent English and is most helpful, and knowledgeable. Very good and interesting range of wines from everywhere. We drank good German Riesling and a good South African Pinotage. The fit-out of the restaurant is very earthy, warm and welcoming, up- market but casual. The crowd? Us ( Australians in our 60s) , a few Dutch tourists in their 30s. Mostly Russians: families, couples. Good day! Thank you very much for the comment! Itâs very nice when the whole teamâs efforts are appreciated so well by our guests ! We will unfeignedly glad to see you again! Sincerely, restaurantâs team Skazka. Food and Wine

Best part of this place is great atmosphere. I visited the place several times and sometimes food has been great, and sometimes food has been not so good (cured meats for beer appetizer plate was really salty and inedible). Cocktails are great and service is always good. Will give it another try, but unless food consistency improves that would be it for me for food, but will always come back for cocktails. We are very pleased that you took the time to submit your review on the restaurant team. Thank you very much for such a high appreciation of our work , it is really valuable to us . We will wait for you in Yaroslavl again !

What a place. The range of beers from all of Europe is extremely impressive, if slightly pricey. Still it's good value. The food is really tasty and always fresh. Good place to watch sport on the TV.

Nice place for a cup of coffee or a quick bite before you visit the sights or take a walk on the embankment. Good service, interesting interior and decent menu.We tried the Solyanka and the coffee soup, which were both good. Never tried soup with coffe before - probably not my favorite, but very interesting and quite tasty.

Been here for lunch. The food is good, and Russian and European. Waiters work professionally. The interior is stylish, made ââwith knowledge of the design, but for my taste, gloomy.
