Reviews on Central European food in Vyborg, Leningrad Oblast, Russia. Vyborg is a small, picturesque resort town a short train ride away from St. Petersburg. Medieval fortifications rise above the small peninsula on which the town is set, and the whole place can be seen by foot in a few hours. The highlight is Vyborg Castle, originally built by the Swedish, then captured and recaptured by the Russians and the Finnish. It has a great view of the town.

Kamelot is a traditional Escandinavian restaurant located in the old town of Vyborg, a city in the North-Western part of Russian Federation, near the border with Finland. Here, the atmosphere is very traditional and comfortable and you can taste some regional dishes like Escandinavian soup or some plates o share. Also we drank vodka and black beer. Very good place to come with friends.

This is a nice restaurant on the top of a modern building. I can not compare, but I suppose this is not the cheapest place in the town, I ordered salmon, which was very delicious, very well prepared. I can recommend this restaurant, it is worth of visit.

30 minute wait for drinks alone. Still waiting for most dishes after 40. Food we have been served is mediocre at best. Basically the nicest thing about this cafe is the stray cats hanging around. In short, go somewhere else.

My wife ordered greek salad and I a medium pebber steak. After 30 minutes the salad arrived, and after we asked, the beef arrived after 50 minutes. It had been on the grill the whole time, and was very well-done.The waitress could not care less about service, and only shook here shoullders when we asked about the foods arrival or the "medium" steak.. She look very dissatisfied the whole evening. There were a total of three tables the whole evening, so the lack of service cannot be explained by to many guests. At 600 rubles, a welll done steak, with acceptable sauce and 12 potato wedges is to expensive. There was not a single vegetable in sight. We also had a bread basket, which was 4 small rye bread and no butter. All in all - service was a "Fawlty Tower" experience and food was very mediocre at best. Wil never come back

We had lunch with my friend in Cafe Krepostnaya 5. The restaurant is small and cozy. The waiter seems to be busy but she was quite friendly. We even got the menu in Finnish. I am sure they have English menu too. We ordered soup for the starter and for the main course creamy mushrooms in a pot. I found both dishes delicious, but my friend did not like them so much. The restaurant seems to be very popular. I would go again for sure if I am in Vyborg.

We make the coffee for our guests since 1980. In 2014 we have made complete reconstruction of our cafe, added a kitchen, where we prepare only fresh and not frozen products. Only in our cafe you can taste dessert Cremespresso by Lavazza. We offer not expe
Visited this place with my girlfriend and we both liked the place. Food was good but if you are really hungry main dish can be little bit small. Cheepish food but not English menu.
