Friendly. Welcoming. Unique. Rakoczi square used to mean something special to Budapesters, but not in a good way. When the M4 underground station has opened on the square though, a new era has begun and our swanky restaurant with its Italian cuisine and i

We found the restaurant while looking for a restaurant in Budapest, member of the slow food organisation. It is located outside the city center, but the longer journey is compensated by a nice location and extraordinary kitchen. The house is the former home of an industrialist living at the beginning of the 19th century. It is located in a nice, calm cottage area. They offer traditionial dishes and specialities. Also the Hungarian vines are excellent, white, red and the Tokaja.Value for money is great, our dinner for two persons including a three course menu, sparkling wine, wine and Tokaya was charged with EUR 50.

This is a very good local place with a pleasant, laid - back atmosphere. They had English menus available and my waiter was adequately conversant such that ordering was not an issue. The dining room was somewhat modest in size but well kept and presented as a traditional Hungarian eatery. Based on my visit, their business appeared to be robust. Located where they are in a more residential, workaday part of Budapest, it is not surprising that the crowd appeared to be mostly locals.I was seated right away when I walked in. My server attended to me quickly and did a stellar job while I was there. The menu offered several tempting choices. I started with the traditional mushroom soup with a dab of cream mixed in. For my main, I had the turkey cutlets with a wild blueberry gravy. Everything I ordered was excellent. The portions for the soup and the main were both more than adequate. The only downside is that I finished with a double espresso that was not particularly good. However, given the delicious fare and good service, I'll let that one go.With sparkling water to drink, my total including tip was 5000 Ft. That was roughly $20 USD at the time I visited, which was a reasonable deal by my estimation. My overall experience was rather good and I would not hesitate to recommend this place. If you stay at the Ibis as I did, it is slightly over a 1 km walk straight up the road.

Very pleasant and friendly service, good atmosphere, richly varied menu, great week's specials, professional recommendations, definitely very nice wine selection, delicious beef (even if somewhat overdone to my taste)... I'll be more than happy to come back any time without hesitation.

We ate a nice lunch in the restaurant, which is a building from the beginning of the last century. The dishes were plentiful and very delicious. Special congratulations to the chef for the excellent taste. The pleasant atmosphere was only disturbed by the slowness of service, but the delicious flavors offset everything.

From the outside, nothing special but the inside is very nicely decorated restaurant, very welcoming and comfortable with a large indoor/outdoor seating area.Menu >> Excellent, it was hard to decide what to eat so I guess we have to go back again, and again.Service >> Excellent. Very professional. I was surprised at how good was the service for a mid priced restaurant.Food >> Excellent. Every dish was properly prepared and tasty. Really, not much to say about it but very very good food. Just for the fact that the menu had such a nice variety, one often wonder if the kitchen will be able to prepare everything nicely but sure enough, we had Angus steak, shrimp salad, duck breast, pork in 2 different styles, chicken, all were prepared perfectly. And I just loved the smoked duck liver appetizer!Dessert >> Unfortunately, very good... :-DCoffee >> Nicely made. Overall, we were so happy our friends recommended this restaurant so looks like it will be a standard go-to for us!! Totally enjoyable!

This restausant is wery close to the airport. The food is good. Not exenlent. Day by day you can chose other things, what you want to eat. They have soups, sweet things and salads also. The price is very cheap. ~4 EURO and you can eat what you want. You can drink fresh limonade there!!! :-) The stuff is kind. The parking place is free. My favourite is here the simple rise. Usualy they have got traditional hungarian foods. ;-)I am sorry becaude my bad english but I hope it was helpful to you.

I am a regular customer in Creme Cafe. I invited many of my business partners for lunch into Creme Cafe and I never failed. Good food, friendly service, reasonable prices, at this close-to the airport location. Modern, simple and calm. I can happily recommend this cafe to anyone.

We arrived quite late after a fruitless search elsewhere in Vecses and found this gem, with an imaginative menu prepared to a high standard, even when we requested a couple of subtitutions. Admittedly there were only two other diners but this demonstrates a commitment to customer service that is sometimes absent.
