Trnava (Slovak pronunciation: [ˈtr̩naʋa] ( listen), also known by other alternative names) is a city in western Slovakia, 47 km (29 mi) to the north-east of Bratislava, on the Trnávka river. It is the capital of a kraj (Trnava Region) and of an okres (Trnava District). It is the seat of a Roman Catholic archbishopric (1541–1820 and then again since 1977). The city has a historic center. Because of the many churches within its city walls, Trnava has often been called "parva Roma", i.e. "Little Rome", or more recently, the "Slovak Rome".

Very friendly staff, the restaurant together with the hotel is a family business, you can feel the touch of the owner on the quality of food. Beer is fresh, draft Pilsner Urquell, certainly a must have to the main course :-)

Went for a lunch, but despite of the fact that restaurant was nearly empty we got our meals only after 45 minutes waiting... Waitresses were not really interested in us either.The only positive fact was that food was fresh and quite tasty.Anyway - bad experience.

ÄajovÅa sa nachádza na prvom poschodà a vchod je zo dvora. Nezablúdite, cesta je vyznaÄená. S priateľkou nás poteÅ¡ila prÃjemná atmosféra, ktorú ÄajovnÃci, Krtko s Kikou vytvorili. PoteÅ¡ilo nás, že okrem Äaju, ktorý sme si objednali, sme dostali aj dve veľmi chutné ochutnávky Äajov s mliekom. V Äajovni nájdete aj malý obchodÃk s peknou keramikou a prÃrodou kozmetikou. JednoznaÄne odporúÄame a ÄajovnÃkom držÃme palce!

shady in summer before noon, cosy in the evening, almost romantic. sit peaceful outside, around the corner the busy tourists rushing by. good local food. if the waiter is not friendly - do not hesitate Not to tip him any, and explain him why. maybe he will learn the lesson.closing 10pm, like the rest of the city....
