What unites us is the love of good food. Due to our unique location, we came to realize that in addition to Slovenian specialties, we can also offer our guests specialties from the Austrian and Italian cuisine. While enjoying Slovenian food and wine you w
Hotel à la carte restaurant with high aspirations. Made its name during realm of a previous chef, was then somewhat lost, but impeccable again during my visit. Modern design, simplistic, even slightly sterile, yet quite fancy. Definitely enough space for relaxed dining, comfortable upholstered chairs. Parking in front easy. Great view over the nearby Alps from window tables and summer terrace.Service notably friendly, helpful and efficient. More than 70 labels on the wine list, mostly Slovenian, well chosen and with moderate markups considering restaurant status. Extremely short no-nonsense menu, the kind I so like to see. All dishes served were delighful, perfectionist and quite creative. »Egg« is phenomenal, so is »Trout«, both served with fresh truffles. I can easily award kitchen with 15+ on my own 1-20 scale.Sadly, I can not heartily recommend the place for foreseeable future, as the well reputed Dalmatian chef was only there on a three months' contract, so it is hard to predict the future food quality. I keep my fingers crossed, though.

The "Wallner- Genusswirt mit Atmosphäre" in the centre of Arnoldstein is 10 km from Villach and Lake Faak. It offers free in-room Wi-Fi and a traditional restaurant serving Carinthian and international cuisine. The modern accommodation at Wallner - Genussw
Came upon this jewel on the roadside.. and so happy that we did!The regional ravioli were heavenly as we're the calamari, served with a delicious warm baguette. For dessert, the apple strudel was just excellent while the warm crepe with ice cream also a winner. The portions were nicely sized, the service lovely and the bill very honest for the amount, quality and goodness of the food. We spent â¬30/person (we drank quite a few beers as well) and couldn't be happier! Highly highly recommended. Bravi!! Dear Alina! We are really flattered about your great valutation, we try to constantly to improve our house and food and make it just a little bit better for our guests. Thank you for the great valuation and we hope to see you again in our restaurant! All the best - Elena Wallner

For a quick lunch in Tarvisio this is a good option. Very popular with german speaking tourists, as all staff speak fluent german. Good pizza and simple options. A little slow in terms of service.

I like the place you have a breathtaking view over the mountains and at the same time you may have some Italian dishes the only week point is, it is very touristic, the kitchen mediocre, the real Italian Service and friendliness you may find in Nabucco in Tarvisio, just go there you will find the difference.
