We stayed at the hotel and had dinner here at every night. Food is good quality, very tasty and lots of it, we rarely had room for pudding!
Very happy to have eaten at this amazing restaurant. It is located on the top of the mountain, close to the swiss village Giswil. The food is tipical, raclette, fondue, deer meat, etc and it's delicious. Me and my boyfriend were lucky enough to even assist at the cheese making which was very interesting. The staff is very nice and there is one girl speaking good English who translated the menu for us. The road to go up there is already an experience cause you can see the Alps, the lake , the green fields with tipical houses and once there the view is breathtaking. Highly advised for a real, almost surreal, swiss experience! :)

We stayed in a rented house in near-by Hofsttaten for biking and hiking summer vacation in the Swiss mountatins. In one of the evenings we decided to dine out instead of the usual self cooking. We came to Panorama-a big Restaurant in the supberbs of Brienz near the lake. The location is great-sitting near the beautiful lake makes you hungry,We ordered a antrecote steak and Hamburger with salat. The portions were big. The steak was a bit over done and they replaced it immidiatly-this time it was right an tasty. The burger and salats were big and very good.We payed about 75 Swiss franks-75$.with beer and coffee. The service was friendly and polite.Iliked the way they handled the replacement of the Steak. Worth sitting near the lake enjoying the view and the food.
With our group we had dinner in Planalp Berggasthaus and resided in the hostel nearby. As there is no electricity it is amazing how things work. You will enjoy the reduction, the calm you enter and friendliness of people up here in Planalp. If you want want to experience a different world, this is the place to go.

You include the establishment under hotels, but the restaurant is open to the public and should be reviewable independently.
We were amazed with the size of our room--huge, which was well furnished and comfortable. It afforded a view of the Lake of Brienz. We were driven up the hillside from the lakefront railway station in the hotel's small electric vehicle, but without baggage we were able to walk up and down without difficulty. Breakfast buffet was excellent, and the reception staff was friendly and efficient. I would go back to the Lindenhof gladly.

Had many meals here over the summer and it was always good. Even when the restaurant was almost full, service was good. Food portions were very large, well presented and also excellent quality. It did not disappoint, and was considerably better than the hotel at Giessbach. A terrace with table service outside, or a traditional Swiss restaurant inside, and with some good local foods too.We did not have one disappointing meal here, it was always good. Highly recommend it if you are in Brienz or nearby. Not the cheapest restaurant, but possibly the best food in the area.

We chose to sit out in the terrace with magnificent views of the mountains. The restaurant serves quick meals for tourists on the run. A kaffee creme is what we ordered first to.take away the chill, followed by hot potato fries sprinkled with salt and pepper. It's self service and staff are very efficient and tourist friendly.

Looking around for a last highlight of our ski holiday, we found the Hotel and Restaurant Kemmeriboden-Bad.The Restaurant is really "off the route" in the "Emmental" in Central Switzerland. Not really knowing what to expect from the restaurant we arrived at Kemmeriboden-Bad - which can't be missed, since it's just one road in the valley. Parking is not an issue - tons of free space in front of the hotel. The menu is small, mostly local dishes. We ordered "the winter Genuss menu" which is a four course dish, starter, soup, main course and desert. All waiting times are moderate and expected for fresh cooking. The Service is organized and differ from other local restaurants and hotels in friendliness and professionality! The inside of the restaurant is what you expect from an location like this - cosy and warm.Let me tell you - the food was awesome, unexpected, full of new flavors, rich and nicely presented. Not say anything else - just go an try it!At bright light, there is shadow - the pricing is rather on the upper limit, specially for the location. Price level is right at similar places in Zurich or Geneva - but still worth the money!Verdict;+Food+Service+Building (you can get dinner in an Iglu)+Location -Pricy
