We stopped here without realizing it was focused on XXL food (sat outside in a nice spot and then realised when we found menu) and as we were looking for lunch we really were not wanting to have anything massive so didn't really take part in the theme, which was our own stupid fault but still missed out a bit.We found the normal size food and I has a tasty pork with spinach. Food was fine not outstanding not bad. I would say go here if you are wanting the XXL experience as the food was fine but not outstanding if you don't want XXL.

Took the train from Berlin for a chance to cross the Oder into Sublice, Poland. Douane Steak and Grill Restaurant had pleasant outdoor seating and friendly service. We had kielbasa and grilled chicken served with excellent pommel frites -- don't know what fat they used, but the fries were delicious. Served with a refreshing green salad. Tab, including beer, came to only 16 euros for two.
Restaurante tipico de polonia con personal muy amable. Carta con cosas extrañas para un español. Pero tb cosas muy buenas. Lo recomiendo.

Now called Psyzna Chata, we stumbled across this place on a day trip to Frankfurt an der Oder and Slubice. Lovely wooden bar with interesting things to see everywhere. Really nicely laid out. The drinks were amazingly cheap compared to the UK - 2 pints of Polish lager & fruit beer for 3 euros. Nice atmosphere and fun to see all the different currency on display. Had a great time there. Close to a really good bazar with local crafts and well worth going to.

I've tasted their really good duck and we didn't pay so much! The only thing that I didn't like was the lack of English Card... but everything was fabulous!!!! I will come back there for sure!!!

I visited Frankfurt (Oder) with my mom on a German holiday when everything was closed. It was a chilly day so we stopped by the Frankfurter Kartoffelhaus for coffee to warm up. I am glad we did. All we had was strudel and coffee, so I can't speak to the whole menu, but the strudel was excellent, as was the service.

On our first visit to Poland, and having walked from the railway station in Germany, we wanted lunch some where special. We were not disappointed by this lovely and inviting restaurant. Small in size, but large in value and gastronomic skills. After ordering four large Polish beers, we all opted for the Gulasch and were delighted that we did. It was the best that any of us had tasted and is to be recommended. The flavours and the contents were first class, with enough beef to be considered a steak in some restaurants. The service was first class and welcoming.

This restaurant is nice, with a very good environment. The food is normal and in big portions. You can find nice and not so nice employees. One of the best restaurants in Slubice.
