Quiet, serene atmosphere on a busy street right opposite Hotel Europe. Seared squid a nice change & with vegetables! Husband thought some of it slightly chewy. Chicken was great but I needed to add a side of vegetables. Waiter offered an extra white wine on the house which of course I accepted. Overall the menu was varied and the service very good and the decor modern. Could have been in any restaurant in any country, except for the smoking inside.

One thing is for sure, restaurant Manolo has great ambiance, comfortable space and pretty decent service. Waiters are friendly and helpful. On the other hand food is mediocre. Fries are bland and nothing to rave about, while bruschetta lacks taste and is very bland. Portions are excellent. Chicken Wok - Asian style was decent and rice was good while Penne Alfredo was also bland, heavy and way too much cream sauce and no parmigiana cheese on it at all which is the main feature of Alfredo sauce. Overall disappointment.But if you want to have a quick non-alcoholic drink with same tasty cakes this is the place to go!

The Park Princess is a 5minute taxi ride or a 15minute uphill walk from Sarajevo's old town and is set amongst the hills. The view from the outdoor terrace over Sarajevo alone makes coming here worthwhile.There is plenty of seating/tables available both on the outdoor terrace &inside the spacious restaurant. Groups can also be catered for.All staff were very friendly & attentive. But the meal we had was the certainly the best we had in Sarajevo. We had a very nice starter of olives &cheese before settling down to the wonderful "Sarajevo Sword" (beefsteak, veal, chicken, aubergine, onion & tomato on a skewer [or sword] with fries) &the exquisite "Vizier's Mahmoudi" (a tender beefsteak with mushrooms & tomatoes in a cream sauce with rice) We washed the meal down with a very drinkable red wine from Bosnia Herzegovina &finished off with a very good baklava. Considering the quality of the food &the wonderful location I would highly recommend having a meal here if you are in Sarajevo.

It may be worthwhile to go to the restaurants, passing magic Bascarsija and after a short walk along the river Miljacka, finish with a beautiful evening sitting on its banks where the restaurant is located. Enjoying continues with great food, service and music.

I learned about To Be or Not to Be Restaurant while reading online blogs of Sarajevo. What a great recommendation! This tiny establishment has two tables downstairs, three tables upstairs, and four outside in nice weather. Our hotel made a reservation for us and we sat outside. The owner/chef speaks good English and is very friendly. We had the seafood risotto and chicken curry. The total cost with a bottle of wine was about $60.Enjoy the atmosphere and people watching!
